It has an open living area with beautiful stone fireplace, fully equipped kitchen with cathedral ceilings and ¾ bath.
Bring your entire family - this retreat sleeps nine with 2 first floor bedrooms, one upstairs bedroom and a loft. Have your meals or just relax in the enclosed porch overlooking the water. Kayak, canoe, swim, fish or simply watch the loons from three levels of decks or the dock. Shallow swim area great for children. Seasonal float in deep water great for cannonballs.
At the end of the day, take a hot inside or Outside shower.
Farmington is a college town with quaint shops and restaurants, and a large cinema for those rainy days.

"Dragonfly Cove Cottage" is truly a special getaway!

What a gem of a place! This cottage is cozy but very roomy at the same time. There seems to be numerous spots available to "chill" even if you have a full house, which we certainly did! If I were to narrow down my favorite things about this cottage they would be: AMAZING VIEWS from every room of the house. Numerous multi-level decks. Easy access to the water, great dock. Beautiful artistic fireplace, it was not a "working" fireplace when we were there, however it was beautiful to look at. FUN HOUSE FOR KIDS- safe ladders to the upstairs loft style bedrooms. VERY private and quiet location. Staying at the Dragonfly Cove lends itself to a feeling of having truly gotten away. Looking forward to our next visit!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
