This is an outstanding condo complex. B-200 is in an exceptional location within the complex. This unit was extremely comfortable throughout. A terrific Lania with a fantastic view of sunset. Susan & John have equipped the condo with everything you need to enjoy a great vacation. We had a wonderful month in this condo and felt very much at home. Wiakoloa Village is a great location to take in so many attractions, beaches, Whale watching, shopping, a full stocked grocery store, and great restaurants and resorts close by.

The first thing I noticed upon arrival, was the cleanliness of the unit. The condo was well stocked with cooking tools, spices, condiments, paper towels, and other stuff. I found the condo and the grounds in general to be very quiet and the people were very friendly. I enjoyed a terrific view overlooking the pool, the golf course, and the sunsets from the very comfortable lanai. All the furniture and bedding was very comfortable. I/We would go back again and again, a terrific value for the money!!

The condo was spacious, clean, well lite, had amenities needed for relaxation and quiet reflection. Good view of sunsets, close to wonderful golf and only 10 mins from busy resorts and beaches. I think it needs to stress more that there are a lot of stairs getting into condo and only one exit if fire occurred. The best room was the 2 queen beds bedroom which got good airflow from window and fan. The livingroom and upstairs bedroom had a harder time getting airflow and remained hotter. Hard to get airflow from the lanai to inside. The noise level and sound travel between rooms and other condos was a little too loud. Some sound absorbing tiles on ceiling and walls would really help. Kitchen was well stocked with condiments and necessary utensils and dishes etc. All electronic devices worked well. I would reccommend this condo for adults only in good physical shape. Difficult to manipulate with a physical disability. Having a phone and WiFi was very helpful as were the basket of books and brochures. Nice to go beaching, nightclubbing, shopping, touring , and come home to peace and quiet.
Owner response:Thank you for taking the time to write a Review on our "home away from home". I was sorry to hear that you had difficulty with the airflow thru the condo. It is actually the first time in the 10 years we have owned the condo that anyone has mentioned having a problem. Opening the louver windows along the top of the ceiling and the windows in the bathroom and vanity area usually create a nice cross breeze. After a day at the beach we always enjoy coming back to the quite of the complex and the cooler temperatures. Thank you again for taking good care of the condo.

We had a wonderful five days in the Waikaloa area and enjoyed our time at the Waikaloa Village. Quiet, clean and comfortable with all of the amenities of home. Loved having breakfast and dinner on the lanai and watching the sunsets. Susan was a pleasure to deal with and addressed all of our questions promptly and thoroughly. Thank you. We would definetly consider staying here the next time we are on the Big Island.

The condo was comfortable and provided many amenities both for beachgoing/days out sightseeing and cooking, if one so desired. The lanai is large with comfortable furniture. A great place to eat meals or relax with a book. This end unit proved to be well insulated against sounds from neighbors and, overall, the complex was a quiet place to stay. The condo was clean but shows signs of some deferred maintenance. The owner was very helpful in providing extra information and responding to questions. We enjoyed being away from the "touristy" areas even though the immediate area has few restaurants, especially when it comes to breakfast. There is a full service grocery store nearby and numerous restaurants and hotels about 6 miles away in Waikoloa.

Susan's Condo was in great condition, and I liked the location. I am not a golfer, but if I was, it would be in heaven at that location. If you are going to the big Island and trying to decide between renting a condo, or staying somewhere like the Hilton, I highly reccomend that you rent a Condo-it is a much better experience by far, and generally more affordable. Susans Condo in particular is very nice, and Susan was extremely helpful to us which make s big difference. her advice made out trip better. We espessially liked how close the grills and pool area were. We bought some wonderful produce from the farmers market in Waimea, along with some fish and steaks and were able to prepare ourselves some really wonderful means and enjoy them on the Lanai. If you are a diver, I highly reccomend going to Kohalo divers which is nearby. Ask to do a shore dive with Robyn-it will be great! Over-all, I love the big Island, and I will be back to stay in this condo soon...

This condo is just what I expected from descriptions. I would return in a heart beat. I choose August knowing it would be warm, it was but I loved it with the trade winds and the fans. It is in tip top shape so it made it easy to maintain. In many ways it reminds me of old Hawaii with the open beams etc. I loved the drive to Kona on upper and lower highway, really interesting..Walking is a wonderful way to see this village. Thank you to the owners for all you have done to make it wonderful.

We have recently returned from our Second stay in this lovely "home away from home"! We divided our vacation into two parts. One week at our daughter's time share at the Waikoloa Hilton Vacation Club and 9 days at this condo. Location wise this condo wins hands downs. The beautiful peaceful scenery we awoke to each morning, the quiet, empty pool area and the no line ups for the BQ's was fantastic. We spent our first week in this condo and then moved down to the time share at the Hilton and we couldn't wait to get back here to finish off our holiday! Sitting on this lani is a treat, nothing but the singing of birds and the odd crack of a golf ball. Utter peace! Since our last visit, our hosts, John and Susan, have made a few new changes to their condo, which only enhances it more. The cupboards are full of all the necessities ....plus. Loads of bedding and linens (even supply laundry soap) and beach towels, beach toys, chairs, coolers.....anything you might need for a day at the beach so don't pack a lot, John and Susan provide it all. Not to mention satelite tv, dvd player, fridge that dispenses ice and cold water and Secure wi fi. Can do anything you want on your computer away from home! In fact our hosts even called us to make sure we had everything we needed and if we found the condo comfortable . How many hosts do that? They even supply a great pkg of Kona coffee to start your day incase you haven't gotten to the market for groceries yet. But do check the cupboards first before you go! AND the Waikoloa Village Market, just down the street from this condo, is one of the BEST on the island. No need to drive into Kona for supplies! Fresh meat, veggies, bakery, plus a deli so you don't have to cook if you don't want to. Or pick up ready made food for the beach! Waikoloa Village is one of the nicest areas on the Big Island! So THANK YOU again John and Susan for another wonderful holiday! Can't wait to return to your lovely home and island in the very near future!!! As always a real pleasure renting from you!
Owner response:We are so happy to hear that you have enjoyed another vacation at our condo in the Waikoloa Villas. We do our best to keep it well supplied with things travelers might need. It is wonderful to get away from a day at the beach and return to a quiet and cooler retreat. We loved having you as our guests and hope you will return again soon. Aloha, John and Susan

We just returned from our stay at Waikoloa Village which was absolutely wonderful. Susan was so very kind and generous. The condo was beautiful - neatly decorated, clean and filled with dishware to make our stay enjoyable and easy. The beds were so comfortable we had a hard time getting out of them in the morning but a coffee and breakfast on the Lanai was a treat to get us moving. We found the location 'off the beaten path' enough to keep our stay low key and relaxing but certainly close enough to everything we wanted to do during our stay there. Thanks for such a memorable experience.

Our stay at the condo at Wiakola Village made our vacation time complete. Such a wonderful place to stay and to come home to after a busy day of exploring the island. The area is beautiful, quiet, restful. And the condo itself was complete with everything a person could possibly need for enjoying Hawaii. It was spacious, with a full kitchen with all the extras like a full size jacuzzi tub, boggie boards and beach towels. It felt like a bit of heaven. And, the price to stay was amazingly reasonable. We plan to revisit and stay again and again. And, making the arrangements to stay were so easy to do. We loved it all!

My wife, son and I stayed for 9 nights in this condo. It was a very quiet and clean complex. We had a great view of the golf course from the spacious lanai. The unit was appointed well and we didn't lack anything. Waikoloa Village is close to our favorite beaches (Kua and Hapuna). It is also close to Waimea and Havi. We highly recommend this unit. Susan (the owner) was helpful in answering our questions and giving suggestions for our stay. Thanks for a great trip!

We stayed at this beautiful condo for 15 days December 18 to January 2, 2010. It is exactly as described and as nice as the pictures. The owners are the best host I have ever encountered. The place is fully equipped and clean. You CAN'T ASK FOR ANYTHING BETTER in my opinion. I enjoyed staying at B200 and will be again in the near future I hope. I have never rented a condo through a website such as this and I had concerns about what I might be getting myself into... My concerns were totally unwarranted. One of the best vacation experiences I have ever had... Thanks Susan

We have just returned from a lovely stay in this condo. The condo was very clean and very well stocked...in the kitchen, all kinds of spices, plastic wrap, tin foil, zip lock bags to name just a few items and a bag of Kona coffee to get us started, shampoo and soap in the bathrooms, lots of towels and extra bedding and oodles of beach toys including, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, beach mats and boogie boards. Saves bringing a lot of things with you. The lani, with it's super nice patio set, where we ate most of our meals, over looks the pool. This in turn made BQ-ing very easy as the BQ'S are situated at the pool. Any problems we encountered (which were few) were handled immediately. Not only was the owner very commodating, but so was her cleaning staff. This condo also has its own wifi connection, another extra not all condos provide. We hope to return to Hawaii in the near future and look forward to staying here again. But the BEST part of this condo is the owner, Susan. A lovely lady to work with and very caring about her guests. Thank you for sharing your home in paradise with us Susan.

The owners description was very accurate but it can't compare with the pleasure and comfort of being there. The photos are very true to life but I wish they could have shown the great patio/lanai that I so enjoyed each morning for breakfast with a lovely tropical fruit plate, coffee and view of the lush landscaping and sometimes, roaming wild turkeys! The pool and BBQ areas were very convenient but not noisy. The property was VERY well maintained, clean and ready the minute we arrived. For a family the sleeping and bathroom are nicely separated. Having the washer & dryer kept in dry towels and bathing suits. Though not on the beach, the price was a great value and location offered us a homebase that was closer to other roads for our many day trips. I have been twice and hope to go back again soon. I would highly recommend this unit to all my friends and family. I'm not a golfer but it looks like a great course and not too crowded. AHOLA
