Located on 1-1/4 acres, and nestled into the hillside directly on the shore of Hart Bay, Poinciana has a view so spectacular and unique that four wedding ceremonies have been held on the main deck. Facing East and sitting 50 feet above sea level, we have a continuous refreshing sea breeze and no hot afternoon sun on the main deck. Our private path leads to the shore where you can walk a short distance to the small Hart Bay beach or climb and explore the large boulders near Bovacoap Point. In the evening, relax in the spa as you watch the moon rise over Rendevous Bay.
Whether lounging on the deck or relaxing in the spa, your gaze will meander beyond Hart Bay to include all of Rendevous Bay, the incredible blues of the Caribbean, and on to the green hills of the National Park. You may choose to dine or just relax on the garden patio where you can enjoy the beautiful flowering bougainvillea, orchids and frangipani.
Poinciana is a unique private family home designed by an island architect and contains native rock and coral walls, some built by the same artisans that built Mongoose Junction in Cruz Bay. It is located an easy 8-minute drive on paved roads to Cruz Bay, where the ferry arrives from St. Thomas and where you will find excellent shopping, dining, and water sports providers.
A great room includes the living and dining areas, plus a complete kitchen. The master bedroom overlooks the main deck and 6-person spa. Down the curved stone stairs and off the lower deck, you will find a second bedroom with bath, an outdoor shower, and a separate third bedroom.
A local native once put on a pair of fins, swam into Hart Bay, and returned with a lobster for our lunch.

This home is truly a magical place. Such an easy drive from Cruz Bay only adds to your relaxing vacation. Watching the sunrise from the deck in the morning is nothing short of pure heaven. This beach front home has has an easy walk to the rocky waterfront which provided us with lots of exploring opportunities. Snorkling here is some of the best on the island. This place has everything you will need for the perfect get away. Cap off your evenings stargazing from the hot tub! Poinciana IS paradise!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This is a true vacation expereince. The Pictures do not convey how wonderful, Magical and breath taking a place this is. You wake up every morning with the sun rising on your deck across a beautiful bay. You can gaze at the stars as you sip Margaritas at night while relaxing in the hot tub. You fall asleep at night to the sound of waves breaking on the shore line. A true fairy tale kingdom.
