Fall in Lancaster County

We spent a week in East Earl, located in the heart of Lancaster County. The area is surrounded by Amish and Mennonite family farms and the sight of a horse drawn buggy along the winding roads is not uncommon. Shady Maple Market and Smorgasbord is a short distance away – an unbelievable culinary and shopping experience. Buggy rides, Lancaster, Hershey and Gettysburg are within easy driving distance. Stuart and Joanne were wonderful hosts. Our accommodations were immaculately clean, comfortable and spacious. For anyone making a trip to this area of Pennsylvania, the Suite Escape is a first rate choice; if we return to this area, we would not hesitate to return.

Only Place We've Stayed that Exceeded Expectations

If you are like me, a person who does a great deal of researching a vacation spot prior to booking them, I've got two words to describe Suite Escape of East Earl, PA. ***Exceeds Expectations***. Actually, three words; ***Far Exceeds Expectations*** No more research needed…. This IS the place you want to stay! Highly, highly recommended. I stayed at Suite Escape with 4 other women on a "Girls Getaway" weekend. We rented both of the suites. The five of us from different backgrounds and different ideas of the perfect vacation, all agreed that this place is absolutely wonderful. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is perfectly decorated, very well maintained, attention to detail is spot on. Even the little details. For example... they knew this was a girl’s getaway weekend and they had left a collection of DVD's by the television, which were perfect for such a weekend. The homeowners are very caring and did all they could to be sure all our needs were addressed while respecting our privacy. They were always available and happy to help us with the silly questions, like how does the remote work on the TV. The beds are memory foam beds which none of us wanted to leave behind. Those who slept on the cot and the sofa bed were very pleased with the comfort of the beds. The bathrooms were just great. The kind of bathrooms we all wish we had. The Chocolate Suite has a great tiled shower stall and a gorgeous 2-person tub. Bubble bath, bath salts, candles, fluffy towels and all. The bathroom in the Chamomile Suite’s bathroom is well appointed as well. The tub isn’t a two-person tub, but it is larger than an average bathtub, very bubble bath worthy. Shampoo, conditioners and lotions were there for us to use. There is even a little gift shop type table with some of the products we used in the suite. Including the fluffy white robes. The suites are laid out so well that you could not hear from one suite to the other. So if you were to stay in just one of the two suites, you’d never know the others were there except outside at the hot tub. The kitchen is supplied with all of the tools, cookware, bake ware, dishware, silverware, glassware etc… needed to cook every meal, which we did. The view is gorgeous. The parking is private; we had 4 vehicles and fit just fine. We all could not get over how clean the suite was. Not a thing out of place. We all were not looking forward to getting back to our “well lived in” homes. The hot tub was dreamy. We were there in mid January 20-30 degrees, which to us, was perfect hot tub weather. The location is great for anyone wanting to sightsee, shop, or just to stay in the whole time. All 5 of us wanted to move in for good! We will definitely be returning for our annual girls weekend, and have already booked for 2009. In addition to returning for our girl’s weekend, we all want to return with just our husbands and ourselves. Though it was a terrific location for a small group to go... Both suites, especially the Chocolate Suite, are perfect for a couple to have a wonderfully romantic weekend. I can't say enough about Suite Escape, but I'm limited to 5000 characters. So I will close with a few words. If you want to have a bed and breakfast experience you will not want to leave and will always remember, book a stay at Suite Escape. When you do leave… you will count the days until you can be there again. Thank you Suite Escape… see you again in 350 days!
