  The house was superb in terms of facilities,cleaniness, equipment and location.We were a family of 9 which included 2 grandparents and everybody loved the house and made full use of the pool,boogie boards,basketball hoop etc,and a fantastic cable T.V. system,which my children are still talking about even now!! Even with all this going on there was enough room for everybody to get their own space. The house was in a lovely location only a few minutes walk from a safe nearby bay beach.There was also a superb restaurant witin a 10 minute walk and a general store at an even shorter distance. The house was located in quiet road and my youngest daughter was delighted to see a deer and her fawn disappearing into the trees on a couple of occasions-magic! The town of East Hampton is only about 3 miles from the house an it was also an excellent place in which to base ourselves as there was plenty going on in the town and surrounding area. Our family had a great week in this house and this undoubtedly contributed to our Hampton experience. I should also point out that the owner was very helpful in giving advice as to things to do and places to go in the area and was always only a phone call away to give any help needed-the owner would make an excellent travel consultant if they were to give up the day job!! A great family holiday and I would have no hesitation in recommending the house.

  My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was conveniently located for many activities and nicely furnished---and comfortably so. We had 3 children under 10 and it worked very well for all of us. The children had alot of fun in the pool and play area-the basketball area was a bonus for the adults. There were many activities available at the house, but luckily the weather the week we were there was ideal and we were out and about alot. The owner was very helpful and available to answer questions before and during our stay. I think this property is suitable for families as well as a girls getaway.

  MY HUSBAND AND I WANTED TO TAKE OUR 2 MARRIED DAUGHTERS AND 2 GRANDCHILDREN FOR AN ENJOYABLE WEEK IN THE HAMPTONS. AND WE FOUND THIS WONDERFUL HOME, WHICH IS SO CHARMING, BRIGHT, SPACIOUS, COMFORTABLE AND MOST OF ALL , EXTREMELY CLEAN. IT WAS SO PERFECT FOR US! THE POOL WAS DELIGHTFIL AND SPARKLING. WE COULD WALK TO THE BAY WATER AND ALSO THE PICTURESQUE MAIDSTONE HARBOR BEACH. THE CHILDREN LOVED IT. THE CHILDREN COULD SWIM IN CALM WATER, AND MY HUSBAND COULD FISH AT NIGHT FROM THE INLET. THESE WERE GREAT RESTAURANTS AND HANDY DELIS CLOSE BY. WE WERE SO HAPPY THERE. THE OWNER WAS VERY NICE AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BEAUTIFUL HOUSE FOR YOUR VACATION RENTAL.

  I cannot say enough great things about this gorgeous home. Impeccably clean, cozy, and a great location. We had every ammenity available to us. A short walk to the bay, 10 minute ride to the beach, and great gyms, restaurants, and shopping. The owner is a gem to deal and extremely helpful. I will be back to this spot for sure!!!

  We stay in the Hamptons every year, preferably in East Hampton, and have sampled a variety of different accommodations. By far, this was our best experience. This property struck a perfect balance of great value for a great location with just the right amenities. It is centrally located to the town of East Hampton, great restaurants and shopping, and both bay and ocean beaches. We did it all - boogie boards on the ocean waves, sandcastles, collecting shells and enjoying bay beach sunsets, playing basketball on the backyard court and ping pong in the basement. There were even some toys and books for the kids. We swam in the pool, bicycled, and the kids played Playstation while we dressed and left for dinner within 15 minutes of our reservations at the best Hamptons spots. After dinner we strolled the town, shopped, and the kids had ice cream from Scoup du jour. We had late night drinks on the deck by lantern-light, while planning the next day’s fun. (Did I mention there is a smoothie maker?) The pool is heated, and has sunny exposure all day - and although we didn't grill, this place is perfect for a backyard pool BBQ. The house is clean, fully furnished, and stocked with all expected appliances, kitchenware, and home goods including bedding and towels. There are plenty of accessories for use such as pool toys, floats, sports equipment, skates, bikes, boards, etc. – even kayaks for the boat launch which is around the corner. (And there is room in the driveway for your boat if you like) The decor is soothing to the soul - it is has a relaxed beachy feel, but is chic while not being pretentious – which if you’ve been here before is difficult to find in this area. We especially like that it feels like a home, not a rental – you’ll know what we mean if you’ve rented around here before. The owner was accommodating, with good communication (cell phone), and we liked that she "knows the deal" and could anticipate our needs- if you are not familiar with the area, she can recommend restaurants and activities, and seems to know what is on the calendar. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this to others.
