Osprey Hill is a charming hillside cottage with river canyon views, situated privately among the treetops overlooking the Vacation Beach area of Guerneville established in the 1920s. This quiet comunity is about a mile from downtown Guerneville at Neeley Rd and River Ln. There is a great neighborhood beach and easy access to the river two blocks away. Down river a few blocks is Summer Bridge, a short cut to Monte Rio and the ocean.
There is a lovely new hot tub on one deck, and a lanai that's perfect for your morning coffee or relaxing in the hammock after a day in the river. The wonderful neighborhood beach is a five minute walk away. Bring your floats and inflatable rafts!
The furnishings are all upscale yet comfortable. With two bedrooms, each with its own bath, it is a great place for two couples to get away. There is a natural redwood bar at the fully equipped kitchen, a perfect place to visit and entertain while the cook creates. The open living area is very comfortable with a quality stereo and TV, as well as another TV in the master bedroom. There is Wireless Internet Access and long distance telephone service.
Come explore the Russian River area with all of it's wineries, hiking and close proximity to the coast. Korbel winery is right down River Rd. Fine dining at Applewood Inn and Restaurant about a mile away. The huge old grove redwoods at Armstrong Woods are about 15 minutes away. Bodega Bay and the scenic coastline is about 30 minutes drive. Don't miss the antiquing to be done in Healdsburg and Sabastopol.

We enjoyed a long weekend at Osprey Hill. Cosy living room, comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen and great location. We particularly liked the side porch with squirrel-view vista and the assorted collection of pictures and mirrors; we even got to enjoy the hike up the stairs and the quirky microwave--"baking potatoes" seemed to work best as a general setting.
