Visit nearby Whitewater Falls and enjoy the spectacular views of the 400 foot waterfall or fish for brown, rainbow, and brook trout in the nearby Chatooga River. Enjoy all the amenities of Lakes Jocassee and Keowee - both just minutes away from the cabin. Bring your own boat or rent pontoons, fishing boats, kayaks, jet skis and more right nearby. Other popular nearby attractions include Table Rock and Ceasar's Head.
Bear Pond Cabin is on a wooded 2 acre lot with a covered back porch overlooking the pond and beautiful mountain laurel. The small pond is stocked with bream and also contains large mouth bass, crappie and catfish. Fish from the dock or venture out in the small boat provided for those who want to fish farther from shore.

We opted to stay in the cabin during a family get-together in Jun 07. Overall, very nice and very close to the lake. All amenities are found in the cabin that one would have at home. Bring plenty of food to stock up the full size refrigerator! We will definitely return...

The cabin could not have been nicer and was even greater than we anticpated. It was sparkling clean and the furnishings were very nice and comfortable. The artwork was fantastic especially the mantel. We had everything furnished that we needed ( except you might get 2 to 4 wineglasses). The location is so convenient to Lake Jocassee and Lake Keowee and we really enjoyed boating on them. We look forward to visiting it again.

Wonderful Place. 1-10 I would rate 15. Very well equipped. Just bring yourself and food. Enjoyed every minute there. Only a short drive, maybe 2 miles to Joccassee. Great place.
