Our family-friendly town home is nestled in the Saddle Ridge Development and sits on the southern fringe of Moonlight Basin Ranch. It is immediately adjacent and easily accessible to the Big Sky Resort. It is centrally located within the largest combined ski resort in the United States and approximately 50 miles from Bozeman to the north and 50 miles to West Yellowstone to the south.
This ski destination is known for exceptional downhill skiing and snowboarding on both Rocky Mountain powder and well-groomed slopes. Exceptional X-country skiing and snow-shoeing trails are accessible nearby. Summer activities include white-water rafting, fly-fishing on the Gallatin River (think: 'A River Runs Through It'), golfing, horseback riding, swimming, hiking, as well as resort entertainment and fine cuisine.
Our town home overlooks the "Pony Express" lift which passes within yards of our back door. Access to the "Iron Horse Lift" serving both the Big Sky and Moonlight slopes, is just slightly downhill and approximately 100 yards from our lower deck allowing convenient and coveted ski-in and ski-out access.
Close by, the Moonlight Lodge offers après ski comfort and the 5-star Timber’s Restaurant. Other lodge amenities include a deli and wine cellar, the Willow’s boutique, an ice rink and optional access to an indoor/outdoor heated swimming pool, spa, fitness center, and wireless internet access. Close in parking is just outside our front door. You can access the handy regional shuttle-bus every ½ hour from the Moonlight Lodge if you prefer not to drive. This shuttle can take you to the base of both ski resorts as well as in to the Meadow village.
The Moonlight Lodge and our town home share the talent of the same professional decorator and reflect a truly western décor. Our unit measures 2100 square feet. Take in spectacular views of Lone Peak, the Challenger slopes, and Andisite Mountain from our wraparound upper deck or soak under the Montana skies in the hot tub on the deck below. A private up-stairs suite overlooks the large Great Room and is complete with a queen-sized bed and full bath. The downstairs master suite is equipped with a king-size bed full bath and jetted tub. A third suite downstairs has twin beds and a large bathroom with a shower. Other features include a wet bar, gourmet kitchen with island, shelved pantry, and a roomy entry with guest bathroom.
