Great Family Vacation

Highly recommend staying at this vacation home if you are going to Parksville....very close to everything, indoor pool was great for after dinner, very clean and well organized home away from home complete with all the kitchen basics and great beach items for the kids and adults!!

Dana, I forwarded it on to my daughter for her to send her comments, I must say that I certainly enjoyed my two days at your home. It was wonderful, everything, the decorating of the unit, the cleanliness, all the items left for our use. My daughter and grandson even got out for a tour in a kayak. It was truly a wonderful spot, all the brochures left for us to chose where to go was handy. The beach stuff was so awesome, toys, mats etc. Loved it all, can't say enough good about it. I will be booking again for sure.

Dieses Haus ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für alle Aktivitäten. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, so dass unsere Familie sich sofort zu Hause gefühlt hat. Wir empfehlen das Haus uneingeschränkt gerne weiter. Wenn uns unsere Reise nochmals nach Vancouver Island führt, werden wir definitiv wieder bei Dana das Haus mieten. Danke Dana für alles. Dana took care of every detail before we arrived. From the beach toys and chairs to fresh coffee and DVDs, we had as little stress as you could have traveling with two small children. The pool house is a nice, clean facility but the pool is a wee bit deep for kids under 6. Having ice cream and mini-golf and the end of the block was a great bonus. We'll return as soon as we can!

I would definitely recommend this house.It was clean and well stocked. All the dishes, towels etc. that you would need. A very nice touch was the complimentary wine, scones, coffee & milk when we first arrived.

Dana we are in love with your cottage!! It is so beautiful and you have provided so many thoughtful touches that we really appreciate. Our friends who are staying down the street at another resort came over for dinner and were so impressed by not only the beauty of the place but that you've truly provided everything we could imagine. What an outstanding vacation rental!!!! Your search is over if you are looking for a spot to stay in Parksville. Our children (age 6 and 9) never were without anything to do!!! Dana has her vacation home well stocked with games, videos, and beach toys. The location is second to none with the mini golf and pool within a minutes walk. Upon entering the home I could tell that we were going to love it here. Everything is CLEAN and in such outstanding shape. It was like we were booked into a 5 Star hotel. Thank you Dana for sharing your vacation home with us. We look forward to returning for another visit!!!

My sister, my two small children and I just returned from 4 days/3 nights in Parksville and loved having Dana's cottage as our home base. The cottage is nearly brand new with beautiful furnishings. We were surprised by the numerous thoughful touches that Dana included--from beach toys and milk for the kids to DVD's, bathrobes and a bottle of wine for the adults. The cottage is walking distance from the beach at Rathtrevor Park and convenient to many tourist activities. We spent one day exploring the area to the north and west (Cathedral Grove, Coombs Market, Morningstar Farm) and the next day exploring Cowichan Valley to the south (Cowichan Bay, Merridale Cidery, wineries.) After each daytrip, it was wonderful to come back to our own cottage to relax, make dinner, and use the community pool and hot tub. There was plenty of space for all of us to sleep--my sister used the comfortable hide-a-bed in the loft and we brought a travel crib for the 8 month old. If you are looking for a clean, quiet, and well-appointed place to relax as you explore Vancouver Island's east side, this cottage is a great choice.

What a wonderful cottage for our anniversary. Dana had everything ready and waiting for us. We stayed for a week and were as comfortable as if we were at our own home. Having the BBQ and deck just added to our comfort. The property is the perfect distance from town and close to parks and walking trails. We can't hardly wait until we can come back again.
