Kaha Lani is centrally located on the island, so you are an easy drive to the North Shore beaches and rain forests as well as Poipu and Waimea Canyon to the south. The nearby Wailua River offers kayaking, hiking, and the famous Fern Grotto.
Perfect for couples and families alike, the adjacent Lydgate Park has a protected area for snorkeling and swimming. There is also a toddler swimming area and large playground.

Why the Owner Chose Kapaa
Kaha Lani's location was the main reason we bought this property. Beautifully located in the perfect climate on the Coconut coast, it is situated right between the desert south and the rainforest north of Kauai.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Walks on the beach where you are virtually the only ones there. Over 6 miles of undeveloped beach are right at our doorstep. Listening to the ocean crash on the beach from the unit, and fantastic snorkling just a few steps away. Our children loved the playground and massive park surrounding the complex

Our family of 4 adults (parents and two children) had a wonderful time in this condo. It is, maybe, 80 yards to walk to the beach and the pool is close to the unit. It has a great central location for visiting the north and south parts of the island, but we preferred the south at this time. The condo was comfortable--nice and clean, but showing some age. Worth the money with the beach right there and the awesome ocean view from the lanai. We had some problems with the washer leaking, but there was an on-site laundry facility. We enjoyed our March stay immensely!
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers.

When you book a place sight unseen there's always a risk it won't be as nice as shown in the listing. We were very pleased to find the description for this unit was accurately represented and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The location is excellent being close to the airport, local hiking trails, and with Lydgate Beach Park just outside the door. The unit itself was very clean, comfortable and contained all of the needed amenities. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the waves, watching whales from our deck and taking long walks along the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place for those who seek a nice place with an "at home" feeling.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our stay here was wonderful!!! We sat on the deck every morning with our coffee and watched the whales. We enjoyed beach walks before breakfast, the (very) warm pool in the evenings, and fell asleep every night to the sounds of the waves. It truly was heaven and we WILL be back. The unit had everything we needed, was clean, comfortable and located in the perfect spot on the island. This place is a true gem, and would highly recommend it to friends and family and anyone coming Kauai!

We really enjoyed staying in the Kauai Paradise Condo. We agree about the uncomfortable nature of the foam covering on the bed in the master bedroom from a previous renter, but the bedding was very nice and comfortable. The master bath could use some updating, but it is a minor complaint. The location is superb and we enjoyed walking on the beach in front of the condo. There is a terrific surfing beach about 10 minutes walk to the south. This place is a great value and location, and we have stayed at two other condos and locations on Kauai. Of the three places, this is our top choice for a return stay. This condo is especially great for families with two children.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children.

We loved the view from the condo and the living dining were great too. What we didn't like was the upstairs bedroom, with no central a/c it was very stuffy. The bed had a foam pad over the matress which for what we leased the unit for, I felt was unacceptable, it kept walking off to one side. The upstairs bathroom really needs remodeled. Lighting was terrible to shave with, put makeup on or put contacts in. There has to be a way to take out the wall that makes maneuvering around to the stool and shower a tight squeeze. The patio furniture was plastic and weathered enough that when my sister in law sat in it (she weighs only 130 lbs) the chair broke and she tumbled to the floor; this could have been a disaster.
Owner response:Thanks for the comments, we appreciate the time you take to help us improve our unit. We strive to keep the condo in perfect conditions. Since your stay earlier this month, we have replaced all the lanai furniture with new high quality furnishings. The UV rays breakdown plastic over time, and metal rusts horribly on the beach, so finally a new product was developed that although expensive should provide more than a year or two of service, so we have purchased some. We have painted the entire inside of the unit this month, and replaced the bedding etc, in the upstairs bedroom. In addition, we just had the lanai replaced. We hope you will enjoy your next stay.
