Experience the magic of San Miguel de Allende at The Fiesta Casita, which is conveniently located very near MEGA and Pollo Feliz: Hospital de la Fe is just a short distance. A fifteen minute flat walk past the Longhorn Steak House, the Maple Bakery, and many local shops and restaurants takes you to the Instituto de Allende and Parque Juarez; ten more minutes, more shops and restaurants, and you are in El Centro where you can enjoy many of the art galleries and music venues San Miguel has to offer. If you prefer to ride, taxis are at your front gate and buses are just three short blocks away.
The Fiesta Casita is part of Villas de Allende, a small, gated condominium community designed and built in Mexican Colonial style that offers 24 hour security, private secure parking for owners and guests, an attractive swimming pool and cabana courtyard area and ample green areas with naturalized ponds.
The Bedroom has a king-size bed with a very comfortable mattress and a desk. Two large closets are custom designed (hanging and drawer space) for ample clothing storage. A small balcony overlooks a lovely water feature.
The Living Room is attractively, colorfully and comfortably furnished. A flat screen, LCD TV has satellite service with US broadcast and Canadian channels among the 100 available. The dining table seats six with comfortable and colorful 'equipal' chairs.
The Kitchen is completely equipped with purified water, a full size refrigerator, smooth top electric range, coffee maker, juicer, and blender. There is also a large pantry, lots of cabinets and a separate washer/dryer closet.
The 'Rojo Oxido' (Red) Bathroom features handmade, painted Mexican tiles and an extra large walk-in shower with plenty of water pressure and hot water.
Step out from the dining room to the ample deck with breathtaking views of San Miguel and the Parroquia. It is wonderful for dining, cocktails and just plain relaxing. A spiral staircase provides easy access to the large private rooftop patio that is also comfortably furnished, beautifully landscaped and available for your enjoyment.
Maid service is provided once a week. Everyone at Villas de Allende is helpful and friendly. You will soon feel at home.
Enjoy the Magic of San Miguel de Allende which was named a World Heritage City by UNESCO in July, 2008!!!

My wife and I drove to San Miguel de Allende from Florida to spend Christmas 2011 there. We found Fiesta Casita to be convenient to all parts of town. This condo was immaculate and allowed us to relax from three days of driving and I found the bed to be particularly comfortable. We have lived in San Miguel before. Therefore, we knew what to expect from the town. What was particularly nice was the opportunity to eat breakfast and lunch in restaurants and then cook dinner on our own back in Fiesta Casita. The kitchen is well equipped for anything. We took advantage of the washing machine and dryer. Everything was perfect. We used the WIFI system to communicate with our children and other family members by SKYPE. We followed the directions in the notebook for accessing the WIFI system immediately upon arrival. The flat screen TV system worked just fine, but we were so busy most days we only used it twice. Villas Allende is a gated community. One day, we left our car with the gate attendant and he washed it and cleaned the inside with an eye to getting it spic and span. We paid him 60 pesos. Most of the time, we left the car at the condo and took a taxi (35 pesos) to Centro for breakfast. Other times we walked. We shopped in the Nigromante market for food or rode a half mile to MEGA, an American style supermarket. We got our car serviced at the Uniroyal tire store across from the Ford dealership and bought 2 new tires. We went to La Gruta on Christmas day for swimming and lunch. We also went to art exhibits, toured Aurora, revisited the Instituto where we went to school before, and walked extensively. We ate at different restaurants everyday and were impressed by the range of cuisine. We also spent three days looking at properties. All in all, it was such a comfortable vacation; we didn't want to leave. Anyone will enjoy the view of San Miguel from the living room and the balcony.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Fiesta Casita was all that and more! We were not disappointed when we checked into this affordable condo and found it was every bit as pretty as the pictures ~ and you won't find a more comfortable bed anywhere. A nice walk into Centro everyday and a cheap taxi ride home after dark; plus within walking distance of Mega! The owners were very helpful in answering questions and concerns ~ we'd definitely recommend this unit to anybody who likes to walk and find adventure!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We had a great two month's at Fiesta Casita. The condo was perfect, exactly as described. We loved the location and the 30 minute walk to El Centro was great exercise. We both lost weight due to all the healthy walking. San Miguel was an outstanding introduction to living in Mexico. Clean, safe, historic and the people are polite and very friendly and there were lots of expats to meet and share experiences with. The weather was the only downer, unusually cold and wet, the locals blamed it on El Nino. But our weekly trip to the the hot springs (La Gruta) made it feel like summer just the same. There are lots of tours available at reasonable cost and the intercity bus system is very efficent and economical. We took day trips to Guanajanto, Queratero and Dolores Hidalgo. Plus we also took art, photography and cooking workshops in San Miguel during our stay. There was always something to do. We were also especially appreciative that the condo had excellent satellite tv service with more Canadian stations than we get at home. It was a real bonus to get to watch all of the Vancouver Winter Olympics. Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely condo.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

We had a wonderful stay in your casita! Very comfortable bed and authentic Mexican decor. The property as a whole is so well cared for and secure. Enjoyed morning walks to centro and discovered some wonderful places to stop along the way. The location can't be beat since we had the view AND the close proximity to town. I would definitely come back for another relaxing stay in the Fiesta Casita!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Why the Owner Chose Colonia San Antonio:
We visited San Miguel de Allende for the first time in January 2010 and fell in love with both the town, the neighborhood and the condo complex of Villas de Allende. When we had the opportunity to purchase this great unit we jumped on it knowing we will always want to come back to San Miguel with all its charm, great food and the warm and friendly people.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Our condo is in a lovely condo complex known as Villas de Allende. It is secure with a gated entry. The grounds are lovely and include a swimming pool which we love. A number of the other owners are ex-pats and all are very friendly and helpful and fun to get to know. The location is wonderful as it is within walking distance to everywhere but gives you more privacy and peace and quiet than in El Centro. The views from both the exterior and interior of the condo of San Miguel are a delight from dawn to dusk. The roof top terrace is a real bonus.
