Our Condo has a spectacular water view of the seventh hole on the east course which means you have a wonderful pond and fairway view!
It is a short walk to the clubhouse/pool area. Our privately owned and managed Grenelefe villa-style suite is a 500 square foot studio with tall, cedar planked,vaulted ceilings. It is a one bath unit with a kitchenette, living area, sleeping area and a 20 foot private covered balcony, from which the guest can experience the sounds of nature.
Bedding in the Condo consists of one pillow top queen bed in the private "sleeping area", and a queen sleeper sofa in the separate "living area". We keep tennis and fishing gear at the unit for your use, so try your luck in the lake (Largemouth Bass/Catfish/Brim and there are Brim in the water trap pond!) Arrangements can be made for a boat.
Grenelefe Golf and Tennis Resort showcases the best of Florida's natural beauty, yet offers convenient access to Orlando's world-famous attractions. Disney World is less than 30 minutes away, Universal and Sea World are less than 40 minutes.
Grenelefe's villa-style suites are spaced comfortably throughout its 1000 acres, providing a sense of privacy. We really enjoyed our stay in Grenelefe! The studio was perfect for the two of us, and we really enjoyed sitting on the lanai watching the antics on the seventh hole! The pool was warm and the drinks were cold. We went to Kennedy Space Center, Disneyworld, fished and golfed. The owners helped with tips on things to see and where to shop. We really enjoyed "Ray" at Bannon's Fish Camp who sold us bait and gave us tips on fishing. We also discovered "Cherry Pockets" restaurant which was a real find. ALSO "Manny's Steak House" is a must. There was a nice crowd at the pool consisting of vacationers and their kids to long time owners who reminisce about when the resort boasted dinner cruises on the lake and sea plane service to Orlando, and the many "stars" that passed through the clubhouse. The condo itself was clean and well planned out and had a large vaulted ceiling, lots of closet space, a very comfortable queen bed and a small refrigerator and microwave. This is great for small quick meals, but you will not be able to cook a Thanksgiving dinner!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Stayed at this condo two weeks last winter. The condo was old but clean. However, the Grenelefe complex was a big disappointment. Nothing there except the golf course. Buildings were boarded up and tennis courts completely run down. The people we met there were nice, but would not recommend this property to others looking for a winter get-away.
Owner response:I am sorry that the Guests did not enjoy their stay. We disagree with their review. I am not sure how, but apparently the guests did not make it to the pool which is at the golf clubhouse and has a large heated pool and a VERY large hot tub. The clubhouse/pool has a restaurant and a bar for food and drinks at the pool. Apparently, they also missed the on site lake access and Bannon's Fish Camp next to that for fishing and boating. I also need to point out that this review is a year old and was not done in a timely manner. Of the 15 tennis courts that were once on site when Jimmy Connors once owned and played there, The clay courts and grass courts are not maintained, and Hurricanes have taken out the separate tennis clubhouse, there are 4 lit fast courts and a couple non lit courts in operation. Grenelefe is a "throwback to the 70's" resort that claimed such owners as Pete Rose, Rocky Marciano and Jimmy Connors. It has Golf Courses designed by Trent Jones and Arnold Palmer. The resort is not brand new. The east clubhouse and conference center is huge and was struck by a hurricane. The resort shut down one of its two restaurants in that clubhouse and one of its two bars. They also shut down the second entire clubhouse on the "west course" to save money. This leaves the facility with one clubhouse, two golf courses, a restaurant, bar, pool, hot tub, and exercise room. It also has lake access. This particular unit (we own two) over looks a water trap pond on the seventh hole (see picture in ad) and has a large porch for enjoying the water and golf views. We love it, but not everyone has the same taste.
