  The overall experience was good and the house looks nicer than the pictures. Our relatives walked to the Oxbow Market and Napa downtown pretty much every day for their entire stay. The only downside was that the sliding door in the living room didn't work so we couldn't use the convertible bed in the living room.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

  Owner response: Tina, Thank you for such a great review – we are always happy to hear the house looks nicer than the photos. There is a Guest instruction book sitting on the front table that can answer most questions if we haven’t already reviewed them personally. We always encourage guests to call with any question so we can make sure their stay exceeds their expectations. There is a note on the wall next to the French doors that does ask guests to call us if they wish to close the doors. They are heavy - they are the original 12 foot French doors. We are happy to do it or show guests how…just lift and pull can do the trick. It works out wonderfully for using that front living area as a separate fourth bedroom. There are also privacy screens for those that wish to use the easy pull out sofa bed. Glad we were able to arrange an early check-in and late check-out for your group and that you enjoyed your stay.   The description was accurate. Plenty of space and clean - perfect for our 5 girl get a-way. Had a great time in Napa & surrounding area.

  Chris & Kat did such a great job trying to work with me and my fiance to take our mothers to Napa for Mother's Day Weekend. Our stay was very comfortable. The house was exactly what we wanted: well decorated, enough room for us all and close to everything we needed. We especially loved Biscuits down the street for breakfast and walking to Oxbow market. Thank you Chris & Kat! We hope to be back.

  This house has plenty of room for several guest with a great layout. The photos accurately reflect the appearance and amenities. The property was very clean. Kat was very helpful with recommendations. I would recommend this property to families and friends. Perfect location for walking to all day & night life. We had a limo pick us up for a day trip to Napa. Things to consider before renting this property: street parking only; tenants below; quiet hours (sometimes I felt us laughing was going to be too loud)

  The property location was excellent within walking distance to the heart of Napa. The home is vintage with wonderful old character and nice furnishings, however, could use a weekend of maintenance. The beautiful claw foot tub in one of the two (tiny) bathrooms had no plug, so not useable for a bath, the drawers in the kitchen would stick and then dump out, the doors to the parlor (that was advertised as an extra lock off room with a pullout) had a sign to not close as they would scratch the floor. The master bedroom was the only private room equipped with a TV and the bed slats in the king pedestal bed were coming out making the mattress lump and sag. The other beds seemed comfortable and the linens okay, however was disappointed that there was not at least an option of a few down pillows. There is not a lot of space around the sink for make-up etc. and would be a better fit for possibly two couples(we were four women). The back room was very cute and had its own bathroom (one of the two baths), but hard to share having to walk past the bed to get to it. The back room also had air conditioner issues and no windows to open. There were a ton of towels and toilet paper and we appreciated it very much. The kitchen was fairly well equipped; spices on the counter and wrap in the drawer, but oddly, no salt and pepper. The house has charm, just needs some fixes and the details to deserve upscale pricing. Suitable for a maximum of three women and two couples.

  Adorable historic home in downtown Napa! My family of 7 was very comfortable in this cute house. We enjoyed walking to the Napa Valley Train station and local eateries. The owners were great to work with and even made special sleeping arrangements for my 2 year old!

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.
