Club Playas Del Duque has 30.000 sq. mts. of prize winning tropical gardens abundant with exotic flowers and plants. A meandering streamlet, fountains and lily pond with acres of relaxing gardens to be enjoyed. Three beautiful swimming pools, two open-air restaurants for use exclusively by the residents. Private gates to the beach and to the Marina. Health and Spa club is on the site with indoor pool. The Ocean Club with seawater swimming pool, restaurants and bars is just at the beach gate. The alternative known name for the Costa Del Sol is the Costa Del Golf. Within the length of this cost, there are over fifty golf courses for all tastes, styles, budgets and facilities. There are the challenging and the less challenging. You would be completely spoilt for choice.
Some courses are hilly and the others flat park land courses with shady trees. The golf clubs are available for any one to enter and play and to use all their facilities without membership restrictions but on daily entrance fees for about 40 Euro for 18 holes..
The golf clubs offers eating, drinking and relaxing areas in the club houses, buggies, and all your needs to rent or buy from their shops.
The courses are normally much less crowded than would be expected and of good value.
The area boasts some of the best golf courses in Europe including, but not limited to the Valderama course which hosted the 1997 Ryder Cup and the American Express Match Play Championships,

We have just returned from our 2 week holiday and the apartment was lovely. Everything was so clean and modern and very comfortable. The grounds where we spent nearly everyday by the pool (there are 3 to choose from) were well maintained with helpful staff (especially the sunbed guy), and the pool itself was clean and inviting. If you prefer sand and sea when you sunbathe, the beach is right on the doorstep. The apartments location was 5 minutes walk from the main harbour where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Thanks to Niall and Angela for being on hand to help us with any questions we had during our stay. We would happily stay here again. Our own staff plus the Playas del Duque staff are an asset when delivering the service we offer and as owners of the apartments, like to think we go the extra mile and give added value to our clients.

The location of this property surrounded by a beautiful well kept garden is a hidden treasure. We have stayed here a few times and always come back as it ticks all our boxes. The apartment is spacious, clean and well maintained and in a secure complex. The beach is almost on your doorstep and good shopping facilities are very close by. There are many good restaurants along the harbour and surrounding area and there also a couple of restaurants that are located on the complex, ideal for breakfast or lunch, especially if you just want to spend the day lounging by one of the 3 pools and taking in the beautiful gardens. Sitting under one of the palm trees with the bright blue sky makes you feel like you are in paradise. Angela and Nael the owners will ensure you have a pleasant stay and will provide all the details that you need to plan your trip accordingly including good recommendation on transfers, car hire, the local area etc. We have recommended this accommodation to friends and family and they have all stayed here and would come back. We suppose the enjoyment our guests experience is a combination of being in a great location, practically on the beach and holidaying in a luxuriant apartment, safely in a beautiful development.

We arrived for a short weekend break on a Thursday morning. The keys were all ready for collection and the guy on reception was expecting us and very helpful directing us to the car park. Easy underground car parking with a lift to within a few yards of the apertment.. all so simple. Inside the apartment was brilliant.. very clean and very spacious. More than enough wardrobe space in both rooms although the apartment has a utility room with all you need if you feel the urge to put a wash on !! Anyway cut to the chase the apartment was superb.. able to relax a couple of afternoons watching Wimbledon as the apartment has all the English TV channels you'd need . The gardens and the 3 pools were fantastic and open either of the back gates you are within a 5 minute walk of the main streets of the port itself. Just so simple to have a nice meal and a few drinks and be able to walk home within minutes.. no cabs , no car parking hassles .. so simple and makes the holiday more enjoyable. Highly recommended apartment. Neal and Angela made it all so easy to book and just run smoothly. Brilliant and so enjoyable.Owner response: We're delighted we have another happy and relaxed guest. The location is marvelous, quite but only a few minutes walk to Puerto Banus. The garden, the pools and the restaurants within the complex are really nice. The Appartment was clean, well maintained and equiped. The customer service was perfect. We stayed here after a recommendation from friends. The location is perfect everything is in walking distance. You walk out of the apartment complex onto a beautiful beach you can then walk along the beach path into the port. If you walk out of the main entrance the shopping centre of Puerto Banus is on the doorstep. We went to all our usual restaurants and didnt have to take a taxi once! after staying at various apartments further out in previous years it was so relaxing to be able to walk everywhere. We have 2 year old twins and cots and high chairs and all bedding were provided. everything is of excellent quality. You will not be dissapointed if you stay here.Owner response: We are dleighted to know that our guests have enjoyed their stay. They have specially enjoyed the unique location of our apartments as you do not need a car here, at the same time you are away from any noise. We stayed at Nael & Angela's apartment for a week at the end of August and had a great time. The apartment is perfect - it has everything you need. The location is great, just a short walk to one of the pools, to the beach or the marina. We took our young son and it was ideal, he loved it! We would definitely recommend and would definitely go back!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Ditto to everything written in previous review from Cheshire,UK (April 26, 2011). This is a spacious well-equipped apartment with nice furnishings to make it feel so homey. Beautiful gardens with gorgeous pools, brooks, fountains - and so easy to step onto the beach from here! Only a short walk to Puerto Banus made it all perfect for my son and his wife with 2 small children! Thanks again Nael and Angela for your attentive and prompt service. After our second time renting from you here, I will not hesitate to recommend to friends and family !Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We had the most fabulous and memorable holiday. The communication with the owner was super efficient and every thing was clear and specific and made it a very easy way to book a holiday. The apartment was clean,spacious, fully equipped, well decorated. The gardens were magnificent with three swimming pools,with life guards in attendance., The photos and the description were exactly as expected. Two private restaurants in the gardens served good food at reasonable prices. Superb location and all amenities are within few minutes walking distance including Marina Puerto Banus. The sandy beaches are the end of the gardens. We would have no hesitation to recommend it to all our friends and we look forward to coming back again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
