  Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has stayed at La Playa before, but not in this particular unit. It was FABULOUS!! The furnishings were spectacular. My mom was recovering from some very intense chemo and radiation treatments. The one thing that kept her going was knowing that we would be at the beach!!! We walked almost every day. The most amazing sunrises and sunsets were seen every day. We plan on returning this November for another get away. Special kudos to Katie at Luxury Vacation Rentals, and especially Adrian, the maintenance man at La Playa. He helped unload groceries, fixed a flat tire, and mainly was just a really nice guy!!!

  Stayed here this week with my two daughters and two grandsons...fantastic condo! Believe me when I say the photo's do not do this place justice. Very spacious, comfortable unit with room to spare! Balcony is amazing. We all absolutely loved this place and can't wait to come back!

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

  This was a wonderful vacation. The condo is beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture and very spacious. The photos on line are good but you really have to see it to get the full effect. The master bath is HUGE - I'm pretty sure the condo is bigger than our two-story, 4br home. Certainly the furniture is nicer, and the beds are SO comfortable. The kitchen is ideally located in the common area with a breakfast bar separating the kitchen from the living room, so you don't get a lot of extra traffic in the kitchen but you can participate in the conversation. The appliances are in great condition and full sized, which hasn't always been our experience at other rentals in the past. I love the pantry - I wish I had one at home like that. The location is close enough to both Gulf Shores/Orange Beach and Pensacola for shopping and dining, but the beach wasn't crowded at all. I recommend a trip to the Naval Aviation Museum - it's just 10 minutes or so away and well worth a few hours. The property management installed wi-fi internet access just before we arrived, and it worked great. We did have a bit of trouble getting started but called the property manager and they helped us find the loose cable on the modem so we were all set in a couple of minutes. We set up our own little internet cafe with all the laptops on the dining room table surfed the 'net to our hearts' content. We were concerned about the oil spill in the gulf, but the property manager was quite reasonable and said if we had to leave due to the spill, our rental fee would be pro-rated. So we decided to give it a shot. The weather was glorious and the beaches beautiful. So glad we came. Usually when our extended family spends a week in the same condo or apartment, by the end of the week we've had a bit too much "togetherness." Not this time - we were all sad to leave. I kept trying to come up with some "cons" I could list here - the only thing that even comes close is that we couldn't find a blow dryer in the condo. Usually there's one stashed in a drawer or closet somewhere which would be convenient for the one time during the week I decide to tame the "beach hair". So bring your own blow dryer, but don't miss this condo! Except for the week I decide to book next year. Don't take that week, please.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

  This unit will surpassed anyone's expectations with it's over-the-top classic style combined with high-end period furnishings and art work. The attention to details cannot be surpassed from the thickest towels you'll ever find to the large pantry, pleanty of cooking utensils and a wine cooler. This is not your typical beach condo but seems to have been transplanted from a a Park Ave. address! The ample space allowed our large family to gather together inside or on the balcony with no sense of over-crowing. What a pleasant environment to enjoy our time together.

  What a GREAT place. We just returned from an 11 night stay, and we still were not ready to leave. Through the years we have stayed in some 30+ condos and homes along the Gulf and I believe this had to be the nicest most comfortable condo, we have ever stayed in. We will assuredly be back!

  What a fabulous place to stay! This condo is as gorgeous as the views that surround it! Very spacious and upscale yet comfortable, the unit feels more like a house than a condo. Even with eight adults we had plenty of room inside and out on the huge balcony. The beds were so comfortable too! Perdido Key is just wonderful. The first week in October the beach was beautiful and uncrowded and the temperature was perfect. We had a great time, and we will be back!
