This adorable two story Carriage House sits behind an 1890's Victorian Mansion in Aspen's central core.
The cottage was completely renovated (gutted to the studs) a year ago. You will find two bedrooms, two baths and a sleeper sofa (in the living area). This property, with large windows, has southern exposure with views of Aspen Mountain and Shadow Mountain.
Available to renters are two parking spaces just steps from the front door.
This cottage has a new gourmet kitchen outfitted with a Wolf range, Bosch dishwasher, Granite countertops, new bathrooms with Kohler fixtures and new windows. In the living area there is a Bose Wave Music System which can hook into your Ipod or play your CDs. Dining table seats up to eight.
Upstairs bedrooms have vaulted, bead board ceilings, with hunter fans. Also, you will find brand new pillow top mattresses, quilts, feather pillows, linens and plush white towels. One bedroom features a queen sized bed, the other bedroom has two twins which easily convert to a king.
There are three HD flat screen TVs. One above the fireplace in the living area and one in each bedroom. Free wireless internet is also included.
Large Windows allow in lots of natural sunlight. Wood floors with area rugs are downstairs, wall to wall wool carpet are in upstairs bedrooms. In the basement you will find a full sized washer and dryer, 2 adult bikes and 2 sets of golf clubs available to renters.
Facing Third Street, between Hopkins and Main St., this property is within walking distance of everything Aspen has to offer: Music, Restaurants, Shops, Hiking, Movies, etc. The beautiful Aspen Golf Club is a short drive and available to all.
FOR MUSIC LOVERS, we are 6 blocks from the Music Tents.
For SKIERS and BOARDERS, this property is 1/2 block to Aspen mountain's shuttle (10 blocks walking to Aspen Mtn) and 2 1/2 blocks from the shuttle to Snowmass, Highlands and Buttermilk.
You will have trouble finding a comparable Aspen property where old world charm meets the 21st century.

We had such a lovely time in Aspen. Your Carriage house could not have been more perfect!! We loved the location and being able to walk everywhere. We were so sorry to say goodbye. Aspen is such a special place. My daughter, Abigail, had such a good time at riding camp...she would have stayed by herself for the rest of the summer if I would have let her. I am hoping that you will still be renting your house next summer because we would love to do it again.
