This home is located 1/2 block from one of the most beautiful beaches in South Jersey. Enjoy dining and ocean views from the rooftop deck with views of the Atlantic City skyline. Or enjoy cocktails and grilling from the second floor deck. Prefer to eat in? You'll love this gourmet white eat-in kitchen with a table that sits up to 12. Or dine out selecting from one of the many fine restaurants in the South Jersey area. Easy access to shopping, dining and fine galleries in Avalon, Stone Harbor and Ocean City. Enjoy gambling? Atlantic City casino's are under 1/2 hour by car.
Like most shore homes, this house is an "upside-down" house designed to best capture the ocean views and breezes. The lower floor features three bedrooms - Bedroom 1 sleeps 4 on a bunk, captain's bed and trundle, Bedroom 2 contains one queen bed and Bedroom 3 holds twin beds with an additional pull-out trundle. Upstairs is located the living room with balcony, eat-in kitchen and master bedroom with queen bed, as well as access to the roof deck.
Rented with all sheets and towels, beach towels, beach chairs, 2 cruiser beach bikes, boogie boards and an ocean kayak. Just come and have fun!
Not open to groups under 25 years of age please.

I was surprised to read the disappointing review from Irish Red who stayed at the house listed in 2011. I stayed at this house last September 2010 and was thrilled with all the extras ... bed sheets, towels, beach accessories, etc. It was a pleasure not to have to pack all of those extra items. There were even toys for the beach and bikes to use. The kitchen was so well stocked with every pot, pan, gadget and more. I've rented houses where there isn't more than a roll of toilet paper in the house. This house was well stocked including the laundry area and it was a few steps to the beach. The house was cleaned before we arrived and the owner worked with our schedule letting us rent a full weekend coming in on Friday rather than Saturday since it was off season. I found the place charming and the only reason we didn't stay there in 2011 is because our family had an additional 2 adults and we needed the 5th bedroom. I got my security deposit back on the date indicated in the agreement and found the owner very easy to deal with ... this was my first rental by owner and I honestly felt like the owner let us share her lovely home and made it comfortable and inviting. I would rent from her again if the number in our group is less this coming season.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The house was comfortable and charming. Decorated well. The upper balcony had a nice view, but the wood was prone to splinters. It was also disappointing to discover that two out of the three televisions didn’t work. And for some reason a few fire alarms were removed from the ceilings downstairs. We had a pleasant time, but that was upstaged by the owner when she took more than a month to return our security deposit. BE WARNED!! She will make up reasons to keep your money. She overcharged us for season beach passes. She charged $30.00 when the cost for the passes is $20.00. She charged us for an umbrella that didn’t last a half a day in the wind on the beach. And she also randomly accused us of taking a sheet???? When actually I left my own sheet there. Odd. Overall, money is better spent elsewhere.
