My husband and I stayed in this cute little cottage for 5 days over our 16th anniversary! What a great location to get to everything: hiking, biking, ATV riding, trip into Jackson, visiting breweries (3 close by and wonderful) and delicious dining. Ralph and Mary are excellent hosts and are happy to point you to any activity you ask about. The cottage is VERY clean and nicely decorated. It is perfect for a couple on retreat!
Owner response:Not to mention inexpensive, quiet, and unique.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This cabin was way beyond my expectations. Great location, nicely appointed and newly renovated. Very quiet with easy access to ski area and gorgeous hikes. By the way if you have time for a long hike leave early and get on the trail for Alaska Basin no later than 8:30 or 9. It is unbelievable. A second choice would be to hike up to Table Mtn. for a shorter hike with panorama of Grand Teton. Both hikes lead from the same parking area. I rented a bike the first afternoon there to relax after a long day of travel and rode up to the ski area with only a couple of cars on the road. Was tempted to ride Teton Pass but too much traffic. Anyway, the cabin is great and Ralph and Mary are accomodating and respect your privacy. Their blown glass is stunning - they are at the top of their game as artisits. I picked up a couple of gifts while visiting. Otherwise if you haven't been to Driggs there are numerous options for coffee, a well stocked grocery store, 2 outfitters (Peaked sports for bike rentals - good bikes)and at least 2 good restaurants - Miso Hungry and my favorite was Forage, both nearby. Actually everything is nearby in Driggs. Enjoy!

This really is a romantic cottage with breath-taking views of the Grand Tetons when you walk out the door. It has an extremely nice bed to cradle you in, beautiful bathroom, and a cool kitchen. Glasswork work is intricate and impressive. Driggs has great food at O'Rourkes Fine Food & Beer, great building architecture, and if you are adventurous, drive N HW 32 – 30+ miles of a non-stop rollercoaster ride!

My husband and I stayed for a week in late February and loved the quiet ambiance of this cottage. Close to town and close to the mountain we had a wonderful time and were much happier not staying at a busy resort. We will definetly be back. Plus the glass blowing gallery is cool, take them up on the chance to see them do their thing. The jetted tub at the end of the day was the perfect fix for sore muscles and Ralph and Mary were great hosts, friendly but never wanted to invade your space.

We had a wonderful time in this cottage. It was restful and fun, a relaxing break from the fast pace of the city. And we had a TON of snow. Super fun, I'd whole heartedly recommend this place to any one wanting a simple and comfortable vacation near the mountains. Thank you, Shelly & Heath

We were lucky enough to stay here for a month and we loved it. Our hosts are great people who obviously take pride in this cottage. It is clean, roomy, comfortable and well thought out. We skied almost daily and loved staying in downtown Driggs as opposed to up at Targhee. If you can get this place, you will be happy you did. Feel free to ask us more. Tom and Barbie Treend

Thank you for such a wonderful time in your humble little home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time & enjoyed your countryside in this part of Idaho. Loren got lots of bookwork done & I got lots of scrapbooking done. Also enjoyed seeing your glassblowing business. What beautiful work you guys do. Thanks again.
