The town of Kensington is adjacent to the Berkeley Hills and is a small unincorporated town with its own shops and is quite charming. 3 blocks walk to shops and restaurants. Within 2 miles there are over 100 of the finest restaurants of every ethnic cuisine in the world!
2 Blocks to a bus stop that takes you directly to the U.C. Berkeley campus and BART Trains. Perfect for a visiting professor or a vacationing couple.
Sleeps 2 comfortably but can accommodate up to 3 people. 3 Blocks from the Blakemont Estate which is one of the finest gardens in the world and home to the President of the entire UC system. It is open to the public mon-fri 8:30 to 4:30. The neighborhood is safe and has beautiful and well maintained homes on gracious lots.
Please note the unit cannot be seen from the main house, nor can you see the main house from the unit or any houses for that matter.

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location. The only downside...no central heat! We happened to catch one of the coldest weekends of the year and the two portable heaters that were provided were barely adequate to warm the cottage. The hosts were very kind and gracious but the house was cold.
Owner response:We have 2 EXTRA heaters available upon requests and have had only warm people since!
