There are three reasons, besides the attractive price, why this condo is a great vacation or residential choice. The Inlets is an exclusive (237 homes or condos) gated community. Yet, there are a great number of attractions within or close to our home. You can bike to the serene Nokomis Beach, are surrounded by many great golf courses and parks, and are only 25 minutes away from delightful Sarasota. Finally, we live nearby and so, are not only attentive to your requests, but will be delighted to provide tours, recommendations, and introductions so that you'll be able to fully enjoy this wonderful Paradise. We have lived in Europe and are always delighted to meet foreign visitors.
Our ground floor unit is a spacious 1250 square feet under air conditioning with two additional lanais, one of which may be cooled. The condo looks out on to a lovely landscape and is steps from our huge 50,000 gallon pool, tennis courts, spa, fitness center and many other amenities of this friendly community.
There are only 16 condos in The Inlets. The remainder are homes. Half the units are on canals and have boat docks. Most people here are 50+. The majority are seasonal. People tend to come from the Mid West and then the East Coast. Canadians and Europeans (from England, Germany, Italy and France) also reside here.

The really nice thing about Nokomis and Sarasota county is the wonderful combination of natural beauty (the beaches, parks, bike trails) and amenities (Dining, theater and other arts). This in tern draws a lot of really interesting people.

The Inlets is really more like staying in a resort rather than renting a place.

The Inlets is our first Florida home. We plan to sell it in 2-3 years when conditions improve. So there is an interest in keeping the place as nice as possible. We live nearby, in Pinebrook South, Venice and can be at the Inlets within 10 minutes to handle any requests. We like to think of our renters as guests and you’ll find we’ve given a lot of thought to your convenience. The Inlets is a great place with many activities and we’d enjoy showing you around the community if you like.

The unit was clean; all appliances in good working order, the neighbors were very quiet and also helpful about information in the area, the location was superb--just step out of the lanai to the oversized heated pool which was like having a private pool all to ourselves, and of course the hot tub was nearby, not to mention the tennis courts. Also walking distance or a bike ride to a marvelous beach, several restaurants and even a CVS and grocery store. Who could ask for more! We loved the community so well we bought a house there!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, pet owners, families with young children.

We've stayed at #102 for 2 aprils. It's a great place in a great location. Could not ask for better landlords. The nearby pool, tennis courts, etc are fantastic. Our grade: "A"!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.
