Why the Owner Chose Romar Place
We loved the fact that Orange Beach was such a family oriented area. When our boys were growing up we lived in Atlanta and always vacationed in Panama City and Destin until the areas became so crowded and over developed. If we had known about Orange Beach - we would have been there! It's a wonderful vacation site for families. Everything is SO laid back and casual and the people are all so friendly.
Romar Place is located in the heart of Orange Beach close to nice restaurants, groceries, as well as attractions for children.
We were also looking for a low density condo. The fact that there are only 66 units in the complex means less people in the outdoor & indoor pools and on the private beach. When you rent in a building with 100-150 units there are just TOO many people.

Owner's Map of Romar Place
We bought 206 Romar Place in 1998, had it with rental company for nine months and then decided we could do a much better job on our own. We were right! I have had tremendous success and LOVE managing the unit and getting to know my renters. I am a 'people person' and will enjoy making your trip the easiest you've ever planned! I have become friends with many of my renters who return year after year.
We lived in Atlanta, Ga for 27 years before moving to Birmingham, AL in 1997 and had never heard of Orange Beach. In early 1998 Larry & I visited with friends at their condo in Orange Beach and fell in love with the area. We immediately began looking for a condo and the moment we walked into 206 Romar Place we knew we had found the condo of our dreams.
I wear many "hats" - I'm caregiver for my 80 year old mother who lives with us, have a wonderful husband (of 42 years!), two grown sons and daughter in laws, and six grandchildren (five in Birmingham and one in Atlanta) mother of Bailey, the world's most wonderful golden retriever, and manage 206 Romar Place & 205 Pelican Pointe condos. That usually makes for a fairly full day.

What a wonderful week we had at 206 Romar Place. The condo was terrific & we had everything we needed. The high quality bedding and linens were exceptional. We loved the huge balcony with its gorgeous view. It was the perfect place to watch the dolphins play. Being on the 2nd floor was perfect. Just a quick walk down the stairs and you were at the indoor pool/hot tub or on your way to the outdoor pool or beach. Diann was so friendly, helpful, and available for any questions. The whole experience was fantastic!

Your condo was very nice and stocked with basically everything we needed. We loved being so close to the beach and eating on the patio. We went on the dolphin tour, played putt putt, went to The Wharf and deep sea fishing. This family has already booked a June 2010 week.

We were so excited to find Romar Place and Diann Richardson on the vrbo website. What a perfect condo for our family - especially the children. This 2nd floor, corner unit offered us so much convenience in getting back and forth from the pool and beach area. We also love the decor of the condo, and especially the kitchen where ALL our kitchen treasures can be found when we cook there. Kudos to Diann for owning such a lovely condo at the beach AND for her excellent marketing ventures! You don't have to ask me back...I'm already booked!
