I have stayed in Coronado 1406 twice now and both times I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't think of anything that this place is lacking. I am not a huge fan of Rocky Point in general but I was impressed by the amenities offered on property. They have several pools (some of which are heated), a lazy river, two spas, and poolside drink/food service. In addition to the pool bar which has a full bar incl. blended drinks and lunch/dinner food menu, they also have a more upscale restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner. They also offer golf and the usual beachside activities such as banana boat ride, jet ski rentals, etc. This condo is very well appointed. The furniture is very attractive looking but still completely functional. Most of the pieces have stain/water resistant fabrics. And there is plenty of space for different activities to be occurring simultaneously: a living room area with flat screen tv (they get basic cable as well as “local” stations from Phoenix), breakfast bar in the kitchen, large dining room table that is pub-table height. The best part is the huge patio complete with a cozy two-person hammock and a awesome view of the beach! The two main bedrooms are very spacious and have king size beds and plenty of storage space. Each also has an adjoining bathroom with high-end fixtures. Everything was very new looking and clean. The resort supplies the bath towels and will bring fresh ones on demand, just like at a hotel. The master bath is larger (though both bathrooms are pretty big) and has a luxurious bath tub which I took full advantage of while I stayed there. There is also a smaller bedroom which is pretty tiny, more like a little cubby area with bunk beds, but it does have a small tv also. It probably wouldn’t work for adults but I am sure it would be great for kids. The kitchen would also be great for a family with kids because there is enough room to cook a full meal and the cabinets are well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and other cooking/eating utensils. Overall, I would highly recommend Las Palomas, from what I have seen it is the best property in Rocky Point. And the 1406 condo in Coronado building has everything you would need for a nice long stay.

My husband and I stayed at Terry's condo this past week (Jan 19-26). We LOVED it!! We have stayed at another condo at Las Palomas and this, by FAR, surpassed our last experience. The view is spectacular. The furniture inside of the condo is so comfy and welcoming, it's like home away from home. The decor is beautiful. The outside furniture and expanded balcony was really great for enjoying the sea and the sunsets. Terry and Elaine have provided all the extras you need in the closet that they give you access to. It was also nice to have a locked closet to leave valuables when we were out on the town. We also appreciated all of the creature comforts in the kitchen. :) Terry was such a pleasure to work with and answered all of our questions and concerns with great communication!! When we had a slight glitch while we were there, Terry took care of it right away. Thanks for the awesome vacation week! We hope we are able to always stay at Coronado 1406. There is no reason that we wouldn't choose this condo over and over again in the future!! Laura and Jay PS The Jimmy Buffet and Refreshment CD's were a really nice touch and really added to our "change in latitude, change in attitude" frame of mind.

I didn't feel comfortable traveling to Mexico because of all the media hype, but decided to go anyway. This was my first experience in Mexico and it was amazing!! I couldn't be more pleased. My family and I travel a lot, and this by far is definitely a 5 star vacation! The resort was very well maintained and the staff were very friendly. The condo is beautiful, high quality stone work throughout, beautifully decorated, very comfortable, amazing view, and Terry was a pleasure to work with. He answered all my concerns. Definitely will be back, thank you Terry.

We stayed in this Condo this Memorial Day weekend. WOW what a beautiful condo this is. The Condo is First Class all the way with every amenity you can possibly think of. The owner is easy to work with and makes you feel like family while staying in his Condo. He gave us access to his owner closet with things such as a pop up tent and chairs for the beach and plenty of other stuff. This came in handy since the beach was packed over this weekend and of course the early risers got all the chairs. I would reccomend this unit to anyone looking to rent at Las Palomas its once of the best and this is my 5th year going over Memorial Day Weekend. Also just for the record there are NO gun fights or crazy street battles in Puerto Penasco dont believe all the hype. I didnt see any sort of violence what so ever and felt safe the entire time. I spent alot of time out and about in the Los Choncas area, Downtown and on Sandy Beach and never saw anything unusal.

We've traveled all over Mexico - Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo, Manzanillo, Troncones, Mazatlan, Playa Del Carmen - and this was by far the nicest condo and resort ever! From the moment we entered the condo, we knew we were going to have a great time. The view from the balcony was stunning. The amenities truly were first class. Bedrooms completely wonderful. The restaurant had some of the best food, served with aplomb. The bartenders were wonderful, and we enjoyed the beach, even thought the weather was a bit cool. All in all, a great time. PP is a funky little town, with the fish market being a great find to bring home jumbo shrimp to cook in the wonderful kitchen.

March 2010. Wow, what a beautiful condo! We felt like we were staying at a 5 star resort. Terry has every cooking utensil, dish, or appliance needed to cook in and entertain friends, just bring the food! We loved that Terry made the owners closet available, we felt like we were family. The two King size beds were soooo comfortable and then the bunk beds in the bonus room were perfect for our 10 year old. The view is spectacular. The location of the condo is perfect(closest to the beach and pool). We can't wait to come back!!!

This was our 7th time staying in Rocky Point, each time at a new condo. After our January stay the search is over. This condo has a one of a kind view and the perfect balance of high class resort with a comfortable feel. The newly added bunk room was a great value. It was like having a 3 bedroom for the price of 2. Our kids enjoyed the heated pools and even spent hours on the beach. There is not a bad time of year for Rocky Point weather. The place was loaded with movies, beach stuff, and kitchen supplies. It will make packing a breeze when we go down next month!

I have been to Rocky Point many times now, stayed in beach houses,and in several of the Sonoran condo's but Las Palomas and this condo is the best place I have stayed in and being in hospitality I have high expectations. The condo is stunning! The pictures do not do it justice. We walked into the condo and were amazed by the amenities offered. The rooms have flat screens with cable, beautiful bathrooms, great shower amenities and very comfortable beds. The kitchen, dining room, and living room all have great views of the ocean! The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The balcony is the best part, it is better than any view we have had staying in any other condo, extremely relaxing and the best place in Rocky Point to watch the sun set. Las Palomas has several pools even heated in the winter and of course the swim up bar is always open! We spent time under the palapas at the beach and lounging in the pool. The restaurant is a four star restaurant. The service was beyond my expectations and we were impressed with the quality and presentation of the food. I am done trying new places and new condos I will be coming back to this one and can't wait for our next visit!

My wife and I stayed in this gorgeous condo last month, and we liked it so much we bought it. Mark and Luella had done just a fantastic job furnishing this place. It has most everything you need for your stay. We could have bought another 2 bedroom condo in Las Palomas for half the price, but given the far superior view, size and how perfect in every way this condo is, we felt it was worth the extra money. We plan to continue to offer the same level of service as Mark and Luella did.

4/09 Just wanted to say "Thank You" for the great stay in your condo. Our kids, ages 9, 11 & 18 had a great time. Appreciated the attention to detail. We had everything we needed. The majicjack came in very handy, as well as the margarita machine. The condo was just like being at home with all the conveniences. We had a great time in the condo and the pool area. Spices, towels, movies, books, rafts, bags, etc. This was the best vacation we ever had. Good place to eat is called Maria in old town and water sports see Del Mar. Us four girls (45 to 59 yrs) felt very safe in town and had a blast with the locals.Would loved to bring my family to your condo. Great people, great condo, excellent little town, we will be back. Beautiful condo. Very much worth the money. Luella is very easy to work with. The staff at Las Palomas is professional and very customer service focused. Our family looked for the perfect place to surprise my husband on his 60th birthday. We looked at alot of condos and let me tell you this condo had it all! The view is breathtaking, the furnishings and decor exqusite, and for the money you CAN'T find a better place. We found something for everyone to do during the day; the beach was great, the pools pristine and going home to this condo was a great joy!!! It is everything that is advertised and more. We have stayed at Las Palomas several times in the past and never had the service this condo provided. We loved all the detail in it. I loved not having to spend an hour checking in and out..I was able to go right to the condo. I was able to get in the condo early because the owner is not in the rental pool and doesn't have to rely on LP's cleaning service of checking in after 4:00pm. The condo was very clean and had special touches other condo's did not have when we stayed previously. There was a ton of x-tra's in the condo with pool toys, movies, plush pool towels and a stocked kitchen with spices, oil, popcorn, paper products, etc. What a difference when you rent directly from an owner.

Well we just cant say enough! Our daughters 16th birthday was one she will never forget! As our family walked through the front door of this lovely condo our mouths dropped and the kids jumped for joy! This was an amazing vacation. The condo is decorated beautifully and tastefully and the views from the balcony are unbelievable. The owners have thought of everything from board games to sand toys and the condo is well stocked with everything you could ever want. The resort has great service, wonderful pools, and La Maria restaurant was very good and affordable. Thanks again.
