Curl up in the living room in front of the wood stove and enjoy reading from the extensive Leon Uris library -- yes, this was the home of Leon Uris and he wrote several of his novels here. You can also watch a movie on the DVD, or ride a bicycle to the nearest beach half a mile away. Shelter Island is a perfect place to visit in any season.
