This condo was the perfect price and location for my family vacation to Oahu for my sister's graduation from UH. It is walking distance to the beach and to the UH campus, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The condo is a corner unit with lots of windows so there was always a nice breeze, and the king size beds are SO comfortable! Sheila, the owner, was very friendly and hospitable. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this condo to friends and family.

This was a very good location within walking distance to many attractions. The condo was very clean and well maintained. Owner had someone there to meet us with keys, show us parking arrangements, and offer attraction suggestions. The only negative thing was the noise. It is in a very noisy location and we had trouble sleeping the first evening. However, there were air conditioners in the bedrooms and once we ran those at night, it definitely made a difference. I would recommend this location and would definitely return.

We recently stayed at this condo for a week while visiting our daughter. We had two couples staying. The condo was very well maintained and fit the description on VRBO. The location was very convenient and parking was provided. Great information on activities and restaurants was provided by the owner. She met us when we arrived and was available for questions. She provided great customer service and worked with us to allow us to leave a little later than the checkout time. The pictures are very accurate as to what the unit looks like..I would definitely recommend this property if you are staying in Waikiki.

Sheila from the start was very nice and accommodating to all my questions especially since I was renting from the mainland. Every transaction went smoothly and she even provided us a map with instructions which was very helpful. The condo itself is very cozy and fully loaded with all the appliances you may ever need. It was clean and well equipped. It's located close to the main drag of Waikiki and local shops. Easily walkable on those nice Hawaiian night and quiet enough to avoid the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. Definitely would recommend this place.

We just want to thank Sheila and Sammy for allowing us to stay in thier apartment and especially for meeting us at 3am to let us in without any hesitation(our flight was delayed). The apartment was clean and cozy, there was a total of 4 of us staying and we felt like we had enough space. The area was nice, I enjoyed my morning runs along the canal. The main shopping strip/waikiki beach area was only a 15 minute walk away. We had a rental car and having parking in the building across the street was great! The only con we had was that the central AC was not working, we did have individual AC units in each of our rooms but we had to dump out the water from the buckets twice daily (not that big of a deal). Overall we really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back! -Rivia

The condo was the perfect place to stay for two couples. It was close enough to the nightlife of Waikiki, but also far enough away to enjoy and relax. It has a great view of the canal and you really can watch canoe races evry night. The artwork was beautiul and the home was very liveable. Sheila and Sami were very easy-going and flexible.

My sister, her boyfriend and I stayed here because we were in town for the Honolulu Marathon. Overall the place was in a great location to the convention center, the start/finish line as well as the down town shopping areas and beaches. The condo itself appears to look bigger in the pictures but when we got there the rooms were a little small. The kitchen was great for cooking and the balcony view overlooking the river was beautiful. The negative things about the stay was that the place is on the 5th floor from a very busy street. Garbage trucks came daily and you could hear every little thing outside. If you're a light sleeper, this would be a hard place for you to get consistent sleep. Not to mention that there was construction going on across the river so we could hear the drills and pounding. There was a constant sound of people driving around in rental buggie cars so there were motorcycle sounds early in the morning and late at night. Sirens too!! The other negative is that the garage is across the street and not very convenient if you need to go out and buy groceries, unload bags/luggage. We at one point were walking around the garage trying to figure out how to get in and get to the appropriate floor. We were not informed how to use the sensor to activate the elevator to get to our floor. A security guard had to show us since he saw us walking around like lost puppies. Other than those two things - noise level and parking issue - the place was fine. We spent most of the time outside and exploring. If I came back, I don't think I would stay here.

A nice tidy unit close to where it's all happening. This is my first time staying in a condo rather than one of the many hotels and I highly recommend this to those who wish to explore Waikiki whilst enjoying the comforts of home away from home.

Sheila was a great person to work with when it came down to finding a place to stay. Her condo was very roomy, had all the amenities that we needed, and had a great view of the canal and the mountains. After a short rain, we really enjoyed seeing the rainbows off in the distance. The location was easy to get in and out of and within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and the beach. Having a paid parking garage was a nice added treat as well. What we liked the best was the wonderful breeze that came through if we opened the back door and the kitchen window. Most of the time, there was no need to run the air conditioner. I can't say enough nice things about our stay. We really enjoyed it and will most definately stay at Sheila's condo again when we return for another vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sami & Sheila's beutiful condo. This place has everything, from being in the perfect location (10 minute walking distance to the beach) to having everything you can think of to make ya feel like your home away from home(laundry basket, cooler, beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards etc) and Sheila has made a wonderful binder with tons of information on activities and island culture. The condo is extremely clean, well furnished, (2 king beds are very comfortable) and beutifully decorated with original island artwork, the kitchen has every gadget that we needed. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the canoe races. The building and parking is very secure. Its always scary for me to reserve a place by just internet information but this condo is everything the pictures and internet sight reflect. We Will Be Back Soon.

The unit was very well appointed and clean with a wonderful view of the inland waterway. The main strip was within an easy walk and Waikiki beaches within a 15 minute walk. The rooms were airy with a nice breeze throughout the day. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the conviences. Beach chairs and umbrellas were provided making our beach time more enjoyable. Being close to the main strip in Honolulu the srteet noise was noticeable but not excessive. Sam and Shiela were very accommodating and went out of their way to insure we had a pleasent stay. I would recommend this vacation rental to friends and family.

This was a excellent place to stay while at waikiki. Sami and Sheila were very knowledgable and went above and beyond to make our stay there the way a vacation should be. The condo was completely loaded with all the things you need for your stay. The proximity to the beach and shopping was well placed so a rental car is not needed. I will stay there again. Thanks Sheila and Sami

We just recently came back from our vacation in Oahu and stayed at this condo. The location was very convenient. We walked to dinner almost every night to the main strip in Waikiki and to the beach which was very close by. We also had our 2 year old son with us so we just put him in the stroller every where we went. The instructions to get here and to get into the condo was very easy to follow. Sheila answered any questions that we had. The place was clean and kid friendly (no sharp edged furniture for kids). My only recommendation may be a slip-proof mat in the bath, since it did get slippery for my son a few times. Otherwise no complaints.

For a whole family with kids and parents, this is an ideal place to stay. We often came back to have lunch and rest for few hours then went out again, so the kids and elders won't be worn out. Watching people playing in the field while having dinner with beers at the balcony, this is a relaxing vacation we wanted. It's a convenient place close to everything. Although not right at Wakiki beach, it's within walking distant. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

This condo was perfect. My husband was conferencing so it was very handy for that. We barbequed for dinner out by the pool. That was a nice touch. Also the area doesn't have the bustle of Waikiki. It was a pleasure. Would definitely recommend it!

The condo was exactly as described--clean, updated kitchen, lovely king sized beds, close in proximity to the beach and a wonderful view. The best part about this place was having a wonderful host who has listed out in emails and a folder with information, great directions, suggestions for us. The responses were quick and informative and it has made our stay in Hawaii very pleasant. I recommend staying here with no reservations and would personally stay here again! Thanks!

Sheila and Sami’s condo was absolutely beautiful with such a breathtaking view any time of the day or night!!! Huge patio doors opening onto such a gorgeous view of the palm trees swaying, canal and the mountains behind were visions we will always cherish. The condo was beautifully decorated and well maintained and provided a very convenient location. Sheila and Sami couldn’t do enough for us which we greatly appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their condo to anyone and just hope we can return someday ourselves. We enjoyed staying at this condo! The books provided(restaurant reviews, travel guides, etc.) were extremely helpful. We especially used the restaurant book to get a feel for the types of food that were served and what rating the reviewer gave them. The kitchen was nicely equipped and recently update with new countertops and appliances. The owners communicated with us frequently during the rental process and answered all of our questions promptly. The location is a relatively short walk to many places to eat, shop, and the beach. The artwork in the condo was very nice (especially the fish metal work in the living room). The tile/stone work throughout the condo was very interesting and added a lot to the look and feel of the living space. My wife particularly enjoyed her morning coffee on the lanai. Thanks ("Mahalo plenty", as we often heard during our trip) for all of your help in making our visit to Honolulu so pleasant.

The condo was a great place to stay. We had a fabulous 10 days and will stay here again in the future. The location was great with just a short (couple of blocks) walk to the main beach. Lots of good restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Our teen-age boys walked to the downtown flea market pretty much every other evening. Thanks, Sheila and Sam for all of the extras. Aloha, Wes and Kim

Wow, what a great holiday we had in March 2008. Couldn't have asked for a better location (close to restaurants, groceries, bus stop, etc) and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool (even though it's cold), the lanai and the view. We slept great on your comfy beds. We'd definitely stay there again. Thanks to Sheila and Sami p.s. your neighbours are all very friendly and helpful too - we enjoyed visiting with them all

Stayed in this condo Dec 26, 2007-Jan 2, 2008. It was wonderful. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The view of the canal was lovely. The location was perfect, close enough to walk to everything you needed. Building was secure and friendly. Fully equipped kitchen and a laundry right outside the unit. A great place to stay in Waikiki.

Our group of three ladies stayed at this condo for the week while we attended a work conference. The owners could not have been more accomodating and friendly. Truly wonderful examples of the aloha spirit!. The husband even picked us up at the airport when our flight was delayed by 5 hours causing us to arrive in HI at 2:00 AM. The condo itself was very nice and very close to the Convention center which was where our conference was held. Very reasonable. The only slight downside might be the occasional street noise, i.e., occasional ambulances, fire trucks, etc. Otherwise just a great place to stay.

It’s about a 15 min walk to Waikiki beach with plenty to do and see along the way.The interior is great, very luxury and everything is new. Once again, a great place to spend a vacation.
