Relax and enjoy this second floor condo with stunning views of Perry and James (Continental Divide). Our home is new to the rental market and has seen very little traffic. Arapahoe is conveniently located within walking distance to charming downtown Winter Park, where most restaurants, retail, night-life, and child-friendly parks are located. A big "town center" is under construction and will be within walking distance from Arapahoe. The world class ski base is less than 2 miles from Arapahoe and is located on the efficient Winter Park free shuttle route that will transport you to Fraser (Safeway and tubing hill), Downtown WP, and the Ski Base (Old Town) all day and evening.
Arapahoe contains all the comforts and conveniences of home including ski racks right inside the door for convenient storage of your skis or other play equipment. After depositing the play equipment, you will proceed up the stairs to the well-appointed home that offers guests a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, washer/dryer, and living room with a Satellite TV, and a DVD player.
Having the entire living space on one level is definitely an advantage to Arapahoe for those guests with limited mobility - once in the unit there are no steps to contend with. The master bedroom is equipped with a queen-sized bed (with pillow top mattress pad). Crack the windows and sink into this scrumptious and very comfortable bed at night and enjoy your favorite TV program on the 27" TV. The full bathroom is located just outside the master bedroom doors and has a shower tub and single sink (and plenty of outlets). The second bedroom is on the other side of the unit and is spacious and houses two twin beds and a dresser. The second bathroom is attached to the twin bedroom. All beds are appointed with luxury linens and bedding. And if you have more than 4 in your party, we offer a queen sleeper sofa in the living room that will sleep 2 more.
Why not enjoy the best of all worlds with a stay at Arapahoe - enjoy the close proximity to the ski base (10 minutes by shuttle), and live in the Downtown area of Winter Park that is within walking distance to many of the restaurants, retail, and parks. Winter Park boasts about its 600 miles of biking/hiking trails for all skill levels. Why not take the shuttle to Old Town and walk the 1.5 miles back to Downtown via the infamous Fraser River Trails. Enjoy bird and other nature watching, walking along the stream, biking, or just revel in the solitude offered by these serene and easy trails. During the summer, why not partake in the Fraser Valley Rodeo that has been the summer's best entertainment for 24 years. Or, watch the downhill bike racing or Big Air competitions by the mountain bikers - these bikers are awesome to watch! Summer or Winter - Arapahoe is a premium location for all your needs.
