The apartment Los Sombreros is located on the ground floor of this house
Location: Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Central Mexico, Mexico
Accommodations: Apartment, 2 Bedrooms + Detached Unit, 1 Bath (Sleeps 4-8)
Keywords: Apartment
Our apartment is located in the shadow of the historic Valenciana Mine. Our location is unmatched in Guanajuato, offering spectacular views of the city. The apartment is 10 minutes from the city by car and about 25-30 minutes walking by the path on the mountain.
The apartment (which we named "The Sombreros") has two rooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, a laundry room with a washing machine and a combined dining and living-room. Telephone (local calls only) and Wi-Fi Internet are provided.
The apartment is furnished and equipped and nicely decorated.
Moreover, you are provided with clean sheets and towels at the beginning but you must do the laundry for those. Electricity, water, and gas are included but your drinking water is not. The price for 4 gallons cost about 2.00 US.
During winter we can put a gas heater in each apartment for an additional (approx.) $15.00 U.S. per week.
Built in a colonial style and architecture, the kitchen and bathroom floors and walls have a diverse exposition of talavera ceramic tiles. A rich and tasteful decoration accompanies the furniture. Arts and crafts from local artists are displayed.
Our standard equipment includes: bed linens and towels, microwave oven, dishes, pots and pans, utensils, toaster, coffee machine, fridge, oven and stove, reading lamps, study desk, cleaning accessories, etc.
We offer transportation to/from the Leon Airport (BJX) for an additional cost. It is a 30-minute ride by car.

I (WE) have stayed at La Chimenea and El Sombrero Location top of the mountain wlaking distance to town (5 miles) through "cross country" terrain, BUT a taxe will charge $3.50 (Three fifty cents) from downtown to the fron door. Everything is available-utensils, drinking water, soap, etc. The owner Lic. C. Trmbley Martinez was more than helpfull and gracefull. Highly recomend the place GREAT super king size bed in La CHI. Can't wait to go back and RELAX TIME
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.
