This condo is our home for part of the year and is also available for you to enjoy. From two decks, you have 270 degree uninterrupted views of the many inner harbor and ocean activities. There is always something to watch on the water. There are also the Olympic Mountains, Mt. Baker, and the charming city of Victoria. You see the Parliament Buildings, the Empress Hotel, Point Hope Shipyard, the Bay and Johnson Street Bridge--- often opening to let a boat pass.
Within 2 walking minutes from our building you are along the inner harbor on the famous galloping goose trail--- quite active for strolling, cycling and jogging. You can also catch one of those cute little Harbour Ferries to take you to many stops on the Gorge and James Bay. Walk north to the converted railway bridge along the gorge or walk south into china town and the city centre.
As well, just next door is the Westside Shopping centre that includes a great supermarket, wine & spirit store, boutique coffee shops and eateries, medical walk in clinic, video rental, and more. Across the street you have a park where locals play baseball. Or, you can just relax on a bench and enjoy the grand waterfall and gardens that are part of our building.
Our condo is thoughtfully equipped to make it your home; stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, HD TV & home theatre surround system, in suite washer and dryer, professionally designed furnishings and fine art. Included are two secure underground parking spots, high speed wireless internet, satellite TV, free long distance calling to USA and Canada.
There’s lots of glass! Windows are all floor to ceiling, up to 15 feet high and turning a corner to amplify the panoramic view. The outside is always part of the interior. Even the master bath has a grand water view. You have to be here to believe it!

Why the Owner Chose Victoria
Victoria is a wonderful city, its big enough to have all the amenities you could wish for and small enough to get around easily. Restaurants are fabulous, there is live theatre, the ocean is there for enjoying, the surrounding towns are picturesque and interesting, the greenery is amazing, it is culturally rich, the climate is temperate...what more could you want?
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Where we live is close to the hub of the city (15 min walk); 2 minutes to the Galloping Goose trail for walking or cycling (we have 2 bikes to use). There is a harbour ferry dock, which is wonderful to use if you want to access some of the other attractions like Fisherman's wharf (and you don't want to walk or cycle). Next door is a full service supermarket with pharmacy, liquor store, medical clinic, Starbucks and more. Imagine, you run out of olives and in 5 minutes you have them, just in case you want to make a martini!

As a former Victoria resident, I felt so comfortable and had such a good time in this apartment that I had to keep reminding myself that it wasn't mine to stay in forever. Everything was perfect and designed for a wonderful stay. I had a number of Victoria people over for drinks or lunch or dinner during my stay and everyone was blown away. For anyone who likes to cook, the kitchen is a delight. As other people have mentioned there is a good supermarket and a good wine store within 300 feet. I would also recommend the Fol Epi bakery in the Dockside Green development across the street for the best bread and sandwiches I have ever tasted. They also have wonderful desserts to bring home for dinner. The Galloping Goose bicycle trail runs along the Gorge in front of the bakery. If you like cycling, I would strongly recommend a tour along the Galloping Goose (and the Lochside Trail which connects to the Goose). There is an excellent bicycle and kayak rental place just off the GG about 1500 feet to the north (Selkirk Station). I managed to squeeze in a 30 kilometre ride on the last Saturday that I was there. I have rented many holiday apartments around the world. This apartment was without a doubt the best. I would recommend it without hesitation. Prepare yourself not to want to leave. Except, of course, when I want to stay there again. :-)

We were most pleased with the whole experience. Everything was as described and even better. The location - the cleanliness - well-maintained - the amenities. We wanted for nothing. A very special touch was the morning paper at the door. We had understood that there was a small grocery store near by. So finding the well laid out shopping centre with even a medical walk in was a real bonus. We would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative as long as it did not interfere with the timing when we would like to return.

We spent a glorious week in this amazing condo last September and had a wonderful time. The view from this condo is one of the nicest views in all of Victoria! The condo is immaculate and beautifully furnished, very comfortable and conveniently close to everything in downtown. We enjoyed the privacy of the penthouse and the bicycles that are provided - you must ride the galloping goose; it's awesome! All in all, a fantastic trip in a great condo!

This wonderful condominium sits across from downtown Victoria with great views of the city, the harbour, and mountains. It is furnished with modern, comfortable, classy furniture and a great kitchen outfitted with everything you need if you decide to take advantage of the quality seafood, surprisingly good wine, and organic fruits and vegetables found on Vancouver Island. A fireplace for the warm nights, a fabulous terrace (from which we watched the Canada Day fireworks), and even A/C that works on those few summer days that are very warm, are just a few of the amenities. This is our second summer renting this apartment and we could easily call it home.
