Come relax & rejuvenate your family like never before!! This house is ONE of the few houses that is fully equiped and furnished for a rental and RIGHT ON THE BEACH in the very private and unique community of Ogden Dunes, Indiana! Our "Yellow House" (as we fondly call it) is directly on an extra WIDE lot of 75 feet of beautiful, pristine Lake Michigan beach in the heart of one of nature's miracles, the Indiana Sand Dunes. A variety of nature and beauty surround you with lots of activites to enjoy. This home is located in a charming, family oriented town which is only a 45 minute drive to or an hour South Shore train ride to Chicago!!

Our home, which is rich in history with the original foundations of the "Yellow Brick House" being built in 1938 when Ogden Dunes first became a popular vacation spot for many Chicago residents, has been beautifully maintained, EXPANDED with close to 3000 square feet and comes with a VERY OPEN FLOOR PLAN that has just been recently professionally redecorated. EVERY room throughout the house has beautiful VIEWS of gorgeous Lake Michigan. Our furnishings are unique; some antiques and lots of art work and beauty throughout our home.

The main level has a HUGE, updated kitchen with granite counter tops, wood floors, new stainless appliances and a HUGE sliding glass door which leads to a deck & unbelievable views of Lake Michigan. This deck is fully equiped with a table & chairs for outdoor dining and two Adirondeck chairs. The kitchen has every possible dish, serving piece and utensil immaginable for family and guest entertaining. The kitchen leads into a lovely dining room with a large windows that view the lake as well. The main living room which is 14 by 28 feet long,and again views of the lake can be enjoyed from every angle of this room from oversized windows and from an expansive, three panelled, sliding glass door that leads out to another deck.

The 2nd level has a spacious master w/king bed. We have just added a new master bath to this room with an oversized jacuzzi tub, granite, a quaint makeup and styling area and vintage style tile, trim & fixtures. The 2nd bedroom also has a king sized bed with sounds and views of the lake. The 3rd bedroom can accommodate 6 kids as it comes with 2 sets of bunk beds with trundles and also has lake views. The bunk room and other master bedroom upstairs share a full bath that has been recently updated as well with new Silestone counter tops, a new sink, oversized tub and toilet. It still has its original vintage charm with bright yellow and teal subway tile but has been beautifully updated.

Although the house can accomodate up to 10-12 people, we are really only looking for small groups of one family or two at the most. This is for your comfort and for the well being or our beautiful home.

The basement level has a garage, a playroom equipped with new carpet, a new sofa that pulls out to a comfortable queen sized bed, a new flatt screened TV, a DVD player, video games, a standard sized refrigerator, a full bath, & a laundry room.

*Sleep late, take strolls on the miles of beach right in front of the house looking for treasures.
*Fish along the jetty,boat rentals available nearby.
*Shopping in Chicago,the Michigan City OUTLET Lighthouse Mall, Chesterton's Saturday "European Market" and the absolutely charming Schoolhouse shop, all which are nearby are a must!!!
*The Town has 2 parks within walking distance of the house.
*5 Star dining and many family restaurants nearby.
*A great Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter rental for a Chicago professional.
*Grill out on the deck and watch the sun go down over Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline light up!
*Have a camp fire in your front yard on the beach, roast marshmellows and make family memories with treats, beautiful sights and ghost stories!!!!
*Climb the nearby Indiana Sand Dunes and see views and a variety of nature that will take your breath away!!!
*Winter activities are equally as delightful with snowboarding, sledding and cross country skiing to name a few.
*Our family has done all these things for generations. As a result, we have wonderful family memories of the "Dunes". You too can create your own family memories of the Dunes!! Come to the "Yellow House"!
