  First of all I’d like to thank the owners for letting us rent their house. It is a great house and we enjoyed or time down there. Unfortunately, I do have some complaints. I’ll start by saying that the house is beautiful, and with a great view. We were a couple (in our 40’s) staying for 3 nights. My main complaint is the cleanliness of the bathrooms and bedding in two of the bedrooms. The sheets in the main bedroom looked worn out. We decided to use the second bedroom instead but the sheets were dirty and we had to wash everything. Many towels in the bath rooms but looked worn out. Luckily we brought our own towels. The water in the bathrooms didn’t drain properly. There was no movie library, in fact the TV and DVD were not connected so we decided to not use it although Mike was kind enough to bring movies and make it work. The beach is super nice, about 15-20 minutes walk. The only problem is that (as it is everywhere in Mexico) there are many loose dogs from other homeowners on the way to the beach so is best to drive to the beach. I didn’t mind the dirt road but for those going during rain the neighborhood could get muddy. It seemed to me that the house only gets a quick sweep after every use. Overall, we were able to enjoy our stay, enjoyed relaxed morning breakfast and sunsets. Very relaxing and peaceful stay.

  We had a great time!!!! The owner and the host are very nice persons to deal with. The house is lovely, alot of beautiful details, very nicely equiped for all your needs at the kitchen, linens and towels as well. A home away from home. An the most beautiful view ever!!!! Thank you very much and we hope to have the chance to stay again soon.

• Perfect Vacation

  What a week! We are 4 recently graduated college students that decided to take a trip to Baja for a week of celebration/post-finals relaxation. We couldn't be happier with this choice. We spent most of our time resting on the houses balconies, swimming in the close and clean beaches, and heavily eating at the town’s authentic restaurants. We’re so glad we chose to stay for a whole week to soak up the wonderful La Mision sun. The neighborhood was very welcoming and safe, and we made lots of friends with our vecinos. I strongly recommend this wonderful house for a perfect getaway!

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

  What an extraordinary home. Views of the ocean, mountains and river just as advertised. The community of La Mission is mostly Americans who live permanently here and speak fluent English. If there is one thing for you to do while here, take a horseback ride on the beach. Contact La Mision Equestrians and schedule a ride. Make sure to travel to Valle de Guadalupe as well and visit some wonderful Mexican wineries.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

  Beautiful home away from home! A short walk to the beach. Close to shopping, restaurants and bars. Many activities for the entire family. Friendly locals within the gated community. My family and I will definitely be returning soon.

  Huge beautiful new home, lots of room. Didn't feel like we were in the middle of the hustle and bustle but close enough to shopping and great food! Within 5 minutes we'd walked down to the beach and were riding horses! We just loved to enjoy our morning coffee out on the patio in the mornings! Will definately rent again.
