The Cottage is graciously appointed with large french doors, antiques, baby grand piano, persian rugs, fine original paintings, fireplace. Clean and lovely. Decorated in artistic and homey Provencal-inspired style. This is your place if you love silence and nature. Everything provided for your comfort: luxury linens, excellent beds, fully equipped country kitchen, firewood, HDTV, extensive CD library, candles, lush gardens...humming birds.

Why the Owner Chose Healdsburg
We wanted a place that encouraged creativity and friendship. Our location in the wine country is perfect. The surrounding area is lovely and we are blessed to have access to the greatest food and wine, and the good cheer those brings with them. We needed a place we could go with our dear Scottish Deerhound, Maurice, who is a gentle presence and a connoisseur of cheese.
The Unique Benefits at this Quiet House Near Plaza
We love the silence. We love the birds. We love being less than 2 miles from Healdsburg Plaza, but tucked away in a secluded spot. This is the best place for cycling, wine tasting, trying incredible food, unique shopping, sleeping or reading a book, or talking late into the night with friends around the fireplace.

We traveled quite a lot and found that we liked to stay in beautiful homey places with personality. That's what we have tried to create at Midsummer Night's Dream Cottage. Its our retreat, and we want others to enjoy it, too. The Cottage gave us the calm space to be creative, and its where we developed a unique music software that is being launched as an internet company in 2009.
