We stayed here over a weekend and were continually impressed. Location: Minutes away from downtown healdsburg / Dry Creek Road / River road etc. All the best wineries minutes away. Cottage: Comfortable beds and furnishing (Eclecticly-themed high-end Kitsch). Expansive outside area for entertaining. Great gas grill where we cooked some fabulous steaks. Plenty of room to expand and have seperate spaces when needed. The kitchen was fully equiped and we lacked for nothing. The fireplace was very inviting and warm. This place was beautiful and convenient. SUCH a bargain! Especially compared to a lot of the overpriced janky rentals you sometimes see in the Russian River. We will be back again :)

Very comfortable, private, charming cottage. Convenient to Healdsburg and the owner was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend it. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a wonderful and peaceful place; very tastefully furnished and comfortable. We hated to leave! And Healdsburg is a beautiful town, completely devoid of garishness. We will certainly return! Thank you Risa & Chris; we loved the Tchaikovsky.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The deck was wonderful, refreshing and relaxing. The trees surrounding the deck are beautiful. One feels surrounded by nature, yet close to town. Best of both worlds. What a great place to stay and enjoy the wine country. We would definitely return again and hope it will be soon.

The cottage itself was delightful, but what really impressed us was how simple Risa made the booking and check-in and check-out process. We've rented houses all over the United States, Mexico and Europe and no one has come close to making it so easy. Give this place a try. You'll be glad you did.

The cottage is in a very quite, peaceful and serene location yet just minutes from the town in one direction and minutes from the vineyards in the other direction. We especially liked the fact that the cottage did not feel like a sterile rental but rather an occupied home that had just been lent out to a close friend for a few days. Spending time in the cozy living room or the wonderful outside deck area were equally attractive options. We would highly recommend this property to all of our friends and relatives.

I took my mother and best friend (we are from South America)for a 4 days get away to this enchanted place. We were so happy and relaxed, it felt like we were in an other country, one of the thing that I loved the most, was the fact that there were not chain stores or cafes around, and the people were very sweet and polite. It has such a safe feeling too. You can walk at any time and leave your front door open and no one will break in.The house was very comfortable and authentic provençal, the terrace was quite and sublimed. I would love to go back and stay with my husband next time. Thank you Risa and Chris for your hospitality.

We just came back from a great weekend in Healdsburg with another couple and our dog and had a fabulous time. This very clean house had a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and a fabulous patio. We really enjoyed how close it was to wineries and Healdsburg, yet felt very secluded and private. We'll be back!

What a wonderful weekend at your home... I spent my birthday with my best friends up in Sonoma, for a weekend of wine-tasting, canoeing, and good food! The house was lovely, a private little retreat set among the trees. Sitting outside and listening to the birds while enjoying a Quivira Rose was just wonderful. The owners let my friends bring their little dog with no hassle, which was nice. Thanks for a great birthday weekend!

For a relaxing getaway, the cottage is the perfect setting--tucked among trees filled with songbirds, with a spacious and commodious patio, perfect for sitting under the stars at dusk and into the evening. The decor makes all the rooms filled lived-in and inviting. We hope to stay longer next time. Chris and Risa, thank you!

Wonderful cabin, very dog-friendly. Nice, peaceful, "woodsy" setting but very close to town. It was my first time booking a vacation rental by owner online and it turned out great! Thanks Chris!
Owner response:Thank you, Dave Chris
