This is a great house on a golf course and less than a five minute walk to the beach. Seabrook's amenities were completely renovated in 2009 and now include a new beach bar (with WiFi), restaurant and Golf Club with bar and formal dining, each less than a ten minute walk away.
The house is located in the Hidden Oaks area of Seabrook Island that is close to the beach and a short walk or bike ride to the outdoor pools and golf clubhouse. The house has the latest in technology including large screen Hi Def TV, Blu-Ray DVD Player, Wii, High Speed Internet (WiFi), plus Flat Screen TV's in each bedroom and the kitchen. The house was renovated and completely furnished in 2007 and one bath was completely re-done in January 2012. In addition to its own TV, each bedroom also has iPod docking station. The kitchen and the two living areas also have TV's. The master and the main guest bedroom have their own DVD players.
The house has three bedrooms and three baths plus plenty of outdoor space. There is a large deck that overlooks the 17th green and fairway of the Crooked Oaks Golf Course. The balcony off the upstairs bedroom provides a nice view of the green as well. There is also a large screened in porch adjacent to the deck with views of the golf course and comfortable teak furniture.
Several bikes are included with options for children so adults and children can ride together. A wagon also makes it easy to bring the beach chairs, beach umbrellas and beach toys back and forth to the beach.
Across the street from the home is a scenic nature trail. The beautiful city of Charleston is a short drive away.

The Master Bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV with DVD, and a sliding glass door that opens to a private screened in porch with a view of the golf course.
The Master Bath has a separate tub and shower. The tub is a two person whirlpool. The vanity has dual sinks.
The Living Room is on the first floor and has a large "L shaped" couch. There is a TV with DVD and VHS players. The Living Room has a high cathedral ceiling with a skylight and opens to the upstairs loft.
The formal Dining Area has seating for 8 at a large formal table. It is adjacent to the Kitchen and the Living Room.
The kitchen has been updated with granite counter tops and hard wood floors. There is seating for 4 - 6, an island cook top, and a flat screen TV. There is a complete set of appliances (dish washer, garbage disposal, coffee maker, toaster, blender).
Also on the first floor is a Laundry room with a washer, dryer, and ironing board. Linens and towels are included.
The second bedroom has a queen bed and a private entrance to a full bath. This bedroom also has a flat screen tv, DVD player and an iPod docking player alarm clock.
There is a 2 car garage with an entrance to the Kitchen. The Kitchen has a stairway off the back to the second floor.
Second floor
The third bedroom is on the second floor and has two twin beds, tv, and a lockable sliding glass door that opens to a balcony with a view of 17th Green
Just outside the upstairs bedroom is a full bath. This bath was expanded and completely renovated in 2012.
The upstairs great room has a sleeper sofa and a second sofa, 57 inch High Definition DLP TV, Blu-Ray High Defnition DVD player, Wii, a sitting area, and an air hockey table. There is a skylight on the great room.
No smoking inside or pets, please.

My family just returned from a wonderful stay at this home on Seabrook Island. I can't recommend it highly enough. The house is so well appointed.....you feel right at home, and like you're away from it all at the same time. My two daughters had a great time watching movies and playing Wii on the huge flat screen TV upstairs! We all enjoyed playing games out on the screened in porch too. Seabrook is great to navigate by bicycle, and the fact that there are bikes for use with this property is really a plus! We rode our bikes to the Lake House and Beach Club pools, as well as to both beaches. We barely used our car the entire week. We've been to Seabrook many times before, but as my review is titled, this was our best vacation ever!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This is a great house for a family. It has two separate living areas as well as a bar area in the kitchen so it has room for everybody. The loft is a wonderful entertainment area with a huge TV, fold out couch/sofa bed, and LOTS of up to date movies and games. Everyone also loved the air hockey. There is a screened in porch to enjoy the golfers, a deck with table and chairs, and a grill for cooking out. There are bikes and beach chairs and toys, and the house is conveniently located near the beach annd hiking trail. The master bed and bath are awesome, and the other two bedrooms hold another 4. If you want a great family house for your vacation, this is it!!!
