Why the Owner Chose Heavenly Valley
(1) Access to ski resorts - It is literally, less than a 5 minute drive to Heavenly Valley. Unless you drive really slow, then maybe slightly longer for you...
(2) Access to casinos, resorts, and shopping - It's a really short drive to the main casinos/resorts and the new Heavenly village.
(3) Access to the Woods and the Outdoors - For those of you looking to come during the summer, there are great hiking areas around the cabin and we're right across the street from a meadow and creek that is great for hiking or snow-shoeing in the winter.
(4) Large living space - There is so much room upstairs and with an open kitchen, its easy to have the entire house together. After all, why bring your family and friends up if you can't all be together in the same room?
The Unique Benefits at this House
Private, luxury living, with close accessibility to restaurants, shopping, etc.
Owner's Map of Heavenly Valley
Hello! Thanks for visiting our VRBO website for our Lake Tahoe home. We just bought this place in 2009 and we love it (although the picture is of us in San Francisco). My wife and I both work in finance in San Francisco and we try to make it up to our Lake Tahoe home as often as possible. We think this house is great because (1) we love to ski, (2) we like to gamble, (3) we love to hike, (4) we love to entertain a big group of people, and (5) it has a great "cabin-feel".

This was our 2nd time staying here and we plan to keep coming back. My family does an annual tahoe trip every year and we've tried a different cabin each winter. After finding this place, we've decided to stick with it. The location is just minutes from heavenly. The property is beautiful inside and out. There is a huge back yard for the kids to play in the snow. The kitchen is humongous and is perfect for cooking up our big family dinners. Modern appliances, great amenities (love the keurig coffee maker), really nice fixtures thoughout the house, nice bathrooms, and LOTS of space for everyone. Owners Nicole and Gary are great and very accomodating. This is definitely one of the nicest cabins with the best value that we've stayed at. The only thing I think this house could use is a jacuzzi and a gas bbq grill. If I could only own a cabin like this!!

This house is great for a Tahoe vacation! It's very large and spacious (two full master bedrooms) for two families. The home is in a great location - you can bypass a lot of the Hwy 50 "Y" traffic, and it's only a few minutes to either the slopes (Heavenly) or the casinos. The kitchen is brand new and fully stocked, so you can save $$ and eat in during your trip. The great room has a huge plasma TV and sound system, for watching movies or listening to music, and they have Wifi (in case you can't "unplug"). All in all, we had a great time during our week at the house!

I have stayed here in both winter and summer, and I loved it in both seasons. It is a beautiful home, and great for larger groups or just a couple of friends and family. The kitchen is very large and makes for a wonderful place for a hearty breakfast before hitting the slopes or fantastic meal to finish off your day and unwind (not bad for just spending a cozy day inside either). Bedrooms are all very nice, a couple of them have jacuzzi bathtubs (there were even bunk bed for kids). The pool table and large flatscreen TV were a nice bonus. I also liked that it was really convenient to everything, casinos, restaurants, slopes and hiking trails. I really enjoyed it up here and would stay there again. Perfect for a long weekend or a vacation!

My close friends and I had a wonderful time at this place on a recent trip to Tahoe. I highly recommend it - fantastic access to Heavenly (very short drive) but also easy to drive to other Tahoe resorts. The home was warm, cozy, bright, and beautiful. Open kitchen, dining room and living room allows for warm, inclusive atmosphere. Great for group gatherings or a quick weekend away.

I find this cabin to be an ideal place to stay while in Tahoe. It is great for large groups or families, only a few minutes from the casinos and Heavenly. I love the fact that it is off Pioneer trail and in the quieter areas of South Lake, away from heavy traffic and making it a quick in and out on busy weekends. The place is large enough that even with a group as large as my family we can spread out; the kids played pool and ping-pong downstairs and the kitchen/family room is huge, making it a wonderful place to hang out and socialize. For the next vacation, I will definitely be seeing if it is available.

The cabin's best feature is the open kitchen/dining/living room area -- it's a great layout for large groups to socialize, play games, watch movies, enjoy meals, etc. I've rented this cabin a few times now and have brought groups of 8-12ppl, and there's plenty of space.
