Este depto esta muy bien ubicado. Es acogedor, limpio, moderno y amplio con detalles que hacen sentir muy cómodo. 100% recomendable. La playa está sólo a 2 cuadras y hay un supermercado muy bueno a 1 cuadra. Una muy buena alternativa para disfrutar de Rio. Para ir en familia o 2 parejas de amigos (tiene 2 habitaciones con camas matrimoniales). El transporte incluido es un plus!

This condo was fabulous. It was exactly as it was represented online. Working with Woodie on renting the condo was professional and very efficient. Upon arrival we were very pleased at our selection of condo rental. The condo was very clean and had every we needed. Linens were wonderful as well as kitchen supplies. Locations was wonderful. Two short blocks to the beach and one block from a wonderful grocery store. Everything we needed was available to us. We felt very safe and at home in this conde. Wonderful experience and would definately rent with Woodie again.

Three of us stayed in the apartment for a week in March 2011 during Carnival. We had a great time and the apartment was perfect. I booked the apartment over the internet which was very easy. The owner, Woodie, was very helpful and always responded quickly to my questions. The apartment is in a terrific location. A nice tree lined street, very close to everything - the beach, the shops, the subte, buses, etc. They were all just a very short walk away. A supermarket was nearby and there were plenty of quality places to eat. I particularly liked a grill resturant (turn right when leaving apartment and it is on the next corner, it has yellow awnings). As it was Carnival there were lots of street parties going on all over the place. However, we had no problems sleeping as the apartment's street was quite and the apartment was also quite. Security people at the front desk were always very friendly and helpful. The airport transfers were very smooth and much appreciated. We were met at the apartment for checkin which was quick and easy. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The photos on the website were completely accurate, all the applicances were of good quality and easy to work. A washing machine and clothes dryer were included which was great. The apartment was clean, well maintained, bright and airy. I would recommend this apartment. I would love to come back to Rio for Carnival and if I do I would stay in this apartment. Delightful time

We just returned form our stay in the apartment and the previous reviews are all accurate. The location was fantastic, the 24hour grocery store a half a block away was extremely convenient (but avoid it on Sunday night). The apartment itself was very comfortable and. nicely laid out for 2 couples. Be warned that if you stay in Brasil, you do not drink the faucet water but can buy 5 liter bottles of water to use. I would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends and would stay there again if I have to opportunity to revisit Rio de Janiero, the worlds most beautiful city.

This is my first stay in a condominium / home and I was very impressed. The managers were friendly and attentive and made the experience flawless. Thanks Woodie! Fernando (Driver) and Maria LOCATION: The Condo is located in an amazing area with tons of conveniences, which was a major plus. I walked around at all times of the day and never felt unsafe. Excellent access to the beach, metro, and bus lines. Location wise, I can’t imagine staying anyway else.... Not even at the Golden Tulip a few blocks away. =) CONDO: Clean and quiet building with 24-hour security. Elevators are on the small side. Condo interior was modern, fresh, and clean. The Kitchen is a cooks dream, but I don't cook on vacation =). The washer and dryer was a great plus. The Living and dining room combo was cozy and inviting. The bathrooms were clean, bright and provided great water pressure. The rooms were comfortable. In my opinion, this is an excellent condo for a group of four or less adults. *Frontera Restaurant was amazing thanks for recommending it. *If your gay.... this place is ideal for you since most establishments are within walking distance. HURRY UP AND BOOK IT.... YOU WON"T REGRET IT...

Great Apartment

My buddy and I recently stayed at this apartment. We have been frequent visitors to Rio for the past 8-10 years and have rented several different apartments. I can honestly say that this was the most pleasant experience from start to finish. The reservation process and felxibility was second to none. The owners are very easy to deal with. The transportation was right on time waiting for us, an added bonus! The apartment itself was in an ideal location and was exactly as described. A few things to note: The apartment has wifi throughout the whole apartment and worked very well the entire trip. All of the pictures and descriptions were completely the same if not better. I would recommend this apartment to anyone travelling for a week or a month. The location is ideal for Ipanema as you are very close to many great restaurants and pubs. I will definitly use their service again! Thanks

Great Location, Great Apartment

You won't find a better place to stay in Rio! We stayed at this apartment in February, right after Carnival. The location is great -- one block to the beach and close to a metro station, grocery store, fresh fruit juice stands, cafes, great restaurants and the shopping district. On Sundays, the Hippie Fair is a half-block away and not to be missed. The area is clean and safe. We were comfortable walking around during the day and at night. The apartment itself was clean, modern, and secure. The beds are comfortable and the linens are nice quality. The owners took great care to make this apartment feel like home. The owners and their Brazilian managers gave excellent service. Financial transactions were smooth. They helped arrange transportation from the airport and gave recommendations for restaurants, shopping and things to do. The manager even escorted us to the bus stop and helped us navigate our way to the mall! All in all, we had a great trip to Rio and would definitely stay here again.

A wonderfully situated condo in Ipanema which was rented for one week, that had ever amenity needed to assist with an enjoyable week. The condo is well located in Ipanema that gives you access to great shopping, restaurants, grocery store, boutiques and even the Hippy Festival located a half a block away from the condo. But, the most important and most valuable part of this condo are the people who manage the property in Rio. I would surely recommend this property to anyone and would differently consider again for my next visit.

We stayed in this apartment in May and it was all that we expected and more. The location was fabulous as you are right by the beach, markets and shopping. Check-in and check-out were very quick and easy. The building has a secured entry with a doorman 24/7. They were exceptional friendly and willing to help if you had any questions. The owner helped provide transportation and was available for any questions as well.

VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay that is centrally located in Ipaneima, one block from the beach! Everything you need is within walking distance, from an extended-hours grocery store, to the shopping district and great restaurants... and especially the BEACH! The condo is clean, modern and very spacious. The building is secure and access to it is very safe. The street is quiet, as is the condo. The owners of the property are amazing. Friendly, helpful and very trustworthy. Dealing with them was a pleasure. Staying at this property really made the vacation. I would be happy to answer questions from others interested in staying at this property. I am planning on visiting Rio again and will definitely stay at here.

Call off your search, you have found the perfect apartment rental in Rio! Having lived in Rio de Janeiro before, my expectations for this rental location were quite high and I am glad to say they were met! The unit is located in a quiet tree lined street, yet so close to all the action. Ipanema is without a doubt the neighborhood you want to stay when you’re going to Rio. The décor is very cute and everyone was so helpful. Ricardo was so prompt in his replies, the doormen were always helpful and our family had a wonderful time. This place is also pretty reasonably priced compared to other apartments of the same standard. I stayed there with my husband, my mother and my 2 kids in April 2009, and we even had perfect weather. I’ll be sure to stay there next time I go to Rio.

We stayed in this apartment in mid-March 2009. The location is great, close to the beach, in a very safe area and with restaurants, shops and bars nearby. This unit is well-decorated and has all amenities that anyone could need. It was particularly nice to stay here on the second week of my vacation because of the washer/dryer. It is in excellent condition, quiet, and spacious. It is in a perfect location -- so close to the prime beach, near the Hippie Fair, and excellent restaurants. I highly recommend the unit, and I would stay there again. I did not previously know the landlord, but found him to be both helpful, accomodating, and pleasant to work with.

My partner and I have stayed at this fantastic condo in Rio for two weeks in each of the past three years (2005, 2006, 2007)--each time during Carnaval. It's the PERFECT place to stay in Rio. Ipanema is one of, if not the, nicest neighborhoods in Rio, and this condo is perfectly located just a little more than a short block from the beach, a half-block from the Zona Sul supermarket, a half-block from the Hippie Fair (held each Sunday in the park across from the Zona Sul). The condo is spacious, clean, nicely decorated and quite pleasant. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and modern, there's ample room to store your clothes, the kitchen is fully fucntional, and the air conditioning works really well. Each time we've visited, Ricardo has added something new to the place to upgrade it--so it's nice to see he takes pride in ownership. Ricardo is very easy to deal with and quite professional. And, the great thing is, his mother lives in Rio, she speaks fluent English, and she's available by phone if you have any questions or if, by chance, you need a new set of keys (which happened to us once when we lost a set at the beach). She's also helpful with putting you in touch with local travel guides if you want to visit a favela, go hang-gliding, or just need basic info on renting bikes, things like that. I can't imagine going to Rio and NOT staying at this place. It will spoil you. It's a nice building, with 24 hour security, and friendly tenants. If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email. I'm more than happy to field any particular questions you might have about staying at this condo. Honestly, if I could afford it, I'd buy a unit in this building. It's a perfect vacation location, and Rio is an amazing city. MUITO BOM!

This condo is modern, clean, quiet, and perfectly situated close to the beach in Ipanema. The kitchen and bathrooms have all the latest materials...granite, marble, great showers, and beautiful hardwood floors throughout. I've stayed here numerous times and look forward to it every year.
