Upon arrival you will find this waterfront home ready for your enjoyment. Located in the midst of prime winter playland, an abundance of activities are just out the doorstep or nearby. The home is carefully maintained and professionally cleaned after each visit. You will find relaxation from the view from the sunroom, patio, beach, firepit, or dock. The natural stone look of the patio, surrounded by native granite boulders, provides a connection between the lakehouse and Lake Cocolalla. From the patio you can BBQ while keeping an eye on the kids just steps away to the beach.Lake Cocolalla is pristine 800 acre lake, approximately 1 mile across by 3-1/2 miles in length, well suited for boating, water-skiing, jet-skiing, sailing, and windsurfing. You can dock your boat or jet-ski from the dock(seasonal, on the property, with a free boat launch at the public sportsmans access just 5 minutes drive by car. Fishing is excellent for the family from the dock or by boat for bass, perch, bluegill, trout, and catfish. You can enjoy the 50 feet of sandy beachfront by swimming, picnicking, playing in the water, or simply relaxing. Kayaks(3) and a canoe are available to paddle along the peaceful, wooded shoreline while enjoying the scenery and watching eagles flying overhead. Finish the day making smores in the firepit on the beach with the fresh North Idaho air moving through the pines.

The home boasts tasteful furniture and flooring, Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, granite countertops and bar. A futon sleeper is located in the sunroom, which overlooks the lake and has floor to ceiling windows, offering a panoramic view of the lake. A master bedroom on the main floor offers a king-sized log bed and walk-in-closet. One of the upstairs bedrooms offers a sweeping lakefront view with a queen bed. All of bedrooms are comfortably furnished and have lake views.
North Idaho is a WINTER playground with an abundance of activities to offer. Wow. We are so lucky. Finding you on VRBO sent us to a relaxing, fun vacation. You really have thought of everything that guests would need. You even provided pancake mix & all we had to do was add blueberries & maple syrup. Yummy! Kayaking up creek and swimming off your beach were the favorite activiities. We saw your local eagles, ospreys, turkeys, fish and friendly neighbours. Thank you for a fabulous stay. Jim & Romie Calgary, Ab. Canada

My family stayed here two years in a row and had a great time. The rooms are very comfortable. The kids (ages 11 and up) loved the fishing, kayaking and turtle-catching. They also greatly enjoyed the ping-pong table. The sunroom was great for watching the lake when the wind was a little chilly and we enjoyed the deck also. The kitchen was fully equipped for any kind of cooking you would do in your own home. The central location was helpful for going to Silverwood or Sandpoint. There is definitely plenty for a family with kids to do for a week.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Our family (total of 11) went to Silverwood Theme Park (2007)- and had the best, most relaxing time staying in your beautiful home. We are looking foward to coming back this or next year and would love to stay at your home again if it's available.
