Villa Tranquillo is a recently built contemporary Mediterranean home on 6 acres of secluded hilltop with 360 degree views of both valleys and distance mountain ranges.
It is conveniently located for journeys to the local wineries in the Russian River, Dry Creek and Alexander Valley appellations, and many local world class restaurants. Departing from the property, you enter the incomparable "Westside Road Wine Road" and can visit your choice of the 11+ wineries and tasting rooms, all situated on one of the most scenic vineyard flanked roads in the entire country. At the end of Westside Road is Downtown Healdsburg, where you can dine at one of the open air cafes or superb restaurants lining the town square.
The home itself is designed as a true indoor-outdoor experience. From inside one can exit through any of thirteen glass French doors to the patios, decks and pool area that surround the house. You feast on an open and spacious floor plan with high ceilings throughout. The great room has a fireplace with tall windows and doors leading out to the deck which overlooks treetops to the valley floor below and to Mount St. Helena. An over sized gourmet kitchen and dining area are designed for people who love to cook and socialize.
French doors from the master suite overlook and open to the length of the 40 x 18 foot Solar Heated dark bottom pool. (Villa Tranquillo's electricity usage is powered by a large array of solar panels).
Lush landscaping and lawns fill the walled courtyard environment with expansive views in every direction. The home is surrounded by covered patios supported by stone and stucco columns, arches and flower beds. Jump into the pool and cuddle up to the adjacent outdoor kitchen with barbecue and bar stools to keep your cook company.
