Thanks so much for the wonderful time we had at your home. It's a beautiful home, serene and very thoughtfully designed. The owners had sent us very detailed mapping to show us exactly where the home sits in Sonoma. Though the photos shown were quite nice, we were all stunned when we opened the ‘garden gate’ and the entry doors into the home. The hilltop location makes for wonderful views from both the deck and pool area; and the stars at night. We also loved the great lawns with flower gardens all around, not something you see often. We had an unforgettable vacation and will be sure to recommend it to others.

We and our friends had a fantastic time at this ‘get away from it all’ home. Great location and beautiful sunrises in the morning. The kitchen was very open to the great room and wonderful for cooking if you like the company your family or friends. Besides the clear beauty of the property, we loved how we could live and feel on so at ease, cooking in the great kitchen and just a few steps out to the pool and patios. The covered patios and Mexican pavers were surrounding the house, so we felt like we had our own resort. A very nice home for relaxed living, and it seems like we were looking at views, the pool, or landscape from wherever we were in the home. All the bedrooms were beautifully decorated, private and larger than we’d been expecting. Our contact was very helpful throughout, answering all our questions right away. And thanks for the free wine tastings! Thank you again for helping our once a year getaway to be wonderful.

After spending several puzzling minutes locating the driveway to the house, we were amazed at what we found at the end of the drive. The home exceeded our expectations for its spaciousness, beauty and conveniences. The grounds and the view were most impressive. The quietness and the privacy made for a most relaxing and enjoyable reunion of eight longtime friends. We are already making plans to return. Thank you for a wonderful time.

I just returned from a long weekend in Wine Country where we stayed at this amazing property. The house is in impeccable condition, very clean, well stocked with all of the essentials and extremely private from neighbors. We ended up being 6 people in the house and had more than enough room and could have easily fit another 2 or 3 people. The drive up the driveway is a bit crazy, very windy road and steep incline, but after our initial shock we enjoyed the adventure and looked forward to the ride up and down every day. The views are spectacular and the drive into the heart of Healdsburg was a quick 20 minutes. It was the perfect place for a getaway from city life. I'd HIGHLY recommend this home to anyone looking for a high end rental at a very reasonable price. Also, as a side note, the owners were a true pleasure to work with. They were always available for questions as we decided on renting and as we planned our itinerary. They also went out of their way to make sure we were settled in and if we need anything during our stay.

We loved staying at this home! It is so peaceful and beautiful. Very conveniently located, just a few miles from our favorite wineries in Sonoma, Gary Farrell and Rochioli. The owners had given us free tasting cards to G. Farrell. The owners had been helpful throughout, providing us with numerous maps showing the property and location in Sonoma. Once we made the turn in the drive showing the home, we all said, Wow! We loved the inside and outside connection, so easy with glass doors everywhere and all around the pool and lawns. Inside, it’s quite grand, great for a group as you feel like you have separate living spaces and a very beautiful kitchen, bigger than the pictures. The private bedroom suites and bathrooms were even better than we’d anticipated, the wives especially liked the convenience and privacy. The property is in wonderfully clean condition, like a fine hotel. The Farmhouse Spa, down the hill and to the south has fantastic food too. We would recommend staying here 100%!

"Thank you, thank you, Owners" for sharing such a lovely property with others! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay--soooooo comfortable--and all our time in Sonoma. It was truly a wonderful experience--the house, the views, the area, and working with you to get us there!

My wife and I first stayed at this property in 2009 and loved the quality and beauty of the home. The design both inside and out made us NOT WANT TO LEAVE for the few days we had. We decided to return this year. The grounds are quite stunning and very private, and the home was upgraded making it more grand and beautiful. They’d added 2 larger bedrooms and private baths, which our close friends GREATLY APPRECIATED! The home is exceedingly clean and up to date, and stocked, with clean abundant linens and towels. The grounds and pool are lit automatically each night, making you want to spend time out on the covered piazza taking it all in. We love visiting the wineries at the bottom of the hill and the nearby Farmhouse Spa is great. The owner again treated us wonderfully from the first contact to the last. Again, for us a great value and experience.

We found our stay at this home to be exceptional. The house was even more beautiful than the photos with luxurious design, decorating and amenities. Upon entering the home there was an immediate feeling of relaxation and calm. The grounds and landscaping couldn't be better and invite one to spend time lounging, swimming, hot tubing, grilling, reading, playing games and taking in the beauty. The house is situated maybe 25 minutes from Healdsburg and well worth the drive. The view from the hilltop is wonderful, overlooking the valley below. The owners were very attentive and helpful with any questions. And, we have already reserved our stay for 2012 and definitely recommend a vacation stay at this home.

One can’t describe the full beauty of this property. We looked out over the valleys in all directions, were enchanted by the fog in the valley floor. The owner was very helpful, both before and during our stay. They’d sent us location maps showing the home, the nearby wineries and restaurants. Every email we'd sent or question asked was done quickly and directly. The home itself is much more than we’d anticipated, the pictures are nice, but the rooms are bigger and more open than we’d thought. There are large glass doors everywhere, letting you see the great walled in yards and the lit pool at night. Last but not least, they returned our deposit before we’d touched down back home.

We had such a time week in Wine Country and the most important part of that was the villa. We could not stop commenting how incredibly lucky we were to find such a beautiful location. From our first inquiry, the owners were extraordinarily helpful. A plan of the layout of the home, tons of maps showing the location and lots of pictures not seen on the vrbo site. The setting was serene and relaxing to say the least, and the views!. The property and home are wonderfully designed; it seems with vacationing in mind. Four en suite bedrooms, all very large and beautifully decorated. When we look to return to CA, we will use this home for our accommodations. Great home, great hospitality!

My family got together for our anniversary in this home in February and loved it. Though the weather was rainy, the owners had a fire going in the fireplace when we arrived. The home is incredible warm for such a grand home, it's colors, the choices they'd made with decorating and the great artwork. It was a feast for us. The kitchen too, just beautiful!, with huge granite counters, and well equipped. The house is so open, you can look 3 different directions from inside and see great views. We chose the home especially because of the en suite baths. The bedrooms were large and far away from each other, so we often retired to our own private suites. Baths had new tiled showers and my wife also noted the hand folded tissue rolls. A true, true wine country home. We've already reserved for the summer to take advantage of the grounds and pool.

My husband and I were very impressed with this lovely home, and would highly recommend it. First of all the owner is easy to work with and responds immediately to any concern. High marks were for the design and comfort of this impeccably maintained, well furnished and stocked, gorgeous home. The Architectural Digest -worthy courtyard would rival many fine hotels. The house sits high in the hills and the view from the great room is delightful all day but especially in the mornings when you are above the clouds. The driveway is steep but manageable. The location is very private. There are some vineyards close by and the Russian river for kayaking. We were in Wine country for 3 weeks, one week at the Sonoma Mission Inn (Mission Suite) one week at the Healdsburg Hotel (Plaza Suite) and found this villa topped them all.
