Cuttyhunk is a family and people-friendly island with amazing natural beauty, a great history, low key activities and modern amenities. The island is located 8-12 miles off the coast of southeastern MA, accessible by ferry from New Bedford and private boat from several locations along the coast. Basic services are available (market, gift shop, fuel, etc), and additional items can be ordered from the mainland and delivered daily.
The 10 year young house offers 4 bedrooms, 3 baths on 3 living levels, along with living room, dining area seating 8, contemporary kitchen, etc. Off the main level, accessed by 2 sliders, are wraparound decks, letting in lots of light and providing great views. The house is located near "town" but not in it, a short walk from the 3 main beaches on the island (10 min and 15 min) and it is well equipped and well maintained.
A great vacation spot for families, good friends, couples seeking to "get away from it all" but remain within striking distance, and chill out.
The living is low key and easy, and the place is just beautiful.
Minimum rental period is one week, Sunday-Saturday.
