Centrally located between the rolling green hills of Waimea and the Kohala Coast. Some of the Big Island's most beautiful beaches are located within a 15 minute drive. This condo is located in the Hills complex on Paniolo Ave., directly across from the Village shopping center.
Close by are many of the Big Island attractions - "A" Bay and the Waikoloa Resort area - where you can snorkel along coral reefs, walk along a mile long white sand beach, and explore two large petroglyph fields, ancient fish ponds, and Hawaiian temples.
At the Waikoloa Resorts you can also take a daytime or sunset sailing cruise, a whale-watching expedition, or a glass bottom boat trip. The resorts also offer fine dining and great shopping. Swimming with the dolphins and helicopter rides are also close by.
Waimea, an old cattle ranching town, with many fine restaurants and shopping is just 15 minutes away. The old sugar plantation towns of Hawi, Kapaa and Honokaa, and the oceanside cliffs and valleys of Pololu and Waipio are easy drives from the village.
The Waikoloa Village Shopping Center is conveniently located just across the street, where you'll find a modern food market with bakery and deli departments, banking, a pharmacy, beauty salon, and other shops.
This 1150 sq. ft. ground floor condo (no stairs) sleeps 6, with a TV and king size bed in the master bedroom, and a double bed in the second bedroom. The living room has 2 couches (1 is a pull-out for extra sleeping). It has been completely remodeled, including painting, carpeting, new appliances, and furniture.
There is a washer and dryer in the unit. It is completely furnished with cooking utensils, dishes, towels, linens, etc. We've even provided an ice chest, sand chairs, and beach mats for your picnic! There are 2 cable TV's and a DVD & VCR player. A video rental store is across the street. Cooled with ceiling fans in the summer and warmed by a fireplace in the winter, this is your "home away from home" on the Big Island.
Two lanais across the back with a barbecue, table and chairs give you privacy and a place to enjoy meals while outdoors.
Guests receive discounted golf at the adjacent golf course and have access to the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and barbeque area on the grounds of the complex. Tennis courts are available to guests at no extra cost. |
