The entire home is yours to enjoy! Beautifully furnished with many extras, this exquisite home features original heart pine floors throughout. Sleeping facilities for 6 with two single-sleeper loveseats in the living room offering additional accommodation for 2 extra guests. All beds have pillow-top mattresses. The living room and each bedroom offer high definition flat screen TVs with DVD players. The downstairs bathroom features an antique claw-foot soaking tub with a hand-held shower attachment, and both bathrooms have separate stand-alone showers. Brand new fully equipped top-of-the-line kitchen (includes full-sized washer and dryer) with a beautiful decked courtyard extending off the kitchen featuring a gas grill, 2 tables with plenty of seating, and two patio umbrellas. On-street non-metered parking is available.

The 1852 House is a short walking distance to the "must see" highlights of the historic district - River Street 15-20 mins walk (11 blocks), City Market (9 blocks), the Savannah Visitors Center (3 blocks) where you can climb aboard one of the many guided tour buses, and 3 blocks to the Civic Center. Also located just around the corner from Mrs Wilkes restaurant.

  • This home was very comfortable for my family of 4 and my parents. I haven't slept so good in I don't know how long! The neighborhood was safe which is definately a concern when you are not familiar with the location and was so close to everything. We have already decided that we would love to stay here again. Thanks for providing such a charming place to unwind!

  • Our party of 4 adults & two children spent three nights in the 1852 home. We enjoyed our stay very much. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The property manager, Dave, was available to take care of us from beginning to end. The house is located just blocks from Forseyth Park and Ms. Wilkes boarding house. If you are looking for a house in the historic district which is quiet and safe, this is the place.

  • My family and I stayed at the 1852 house for a family get together over Thanksgiving. The house was cozy, comfortable, and full of charm. It was very clean and had everything we needed for an awesome visit. We were also able to walk to River Street and Forsyth Park from the house. I cannot wait until my family and I can stay there again!
