Spacious and very sunny 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment of well over 100 sq,mt, located on the first floor of an 18th Century building (with no elevator) with Firenzuola stone steps (a characteristic stone of Florence also known with its Italian name of pietra serena) and lovely views of the romantic Piazza S.Spirito.

Recently renovated and well designed and refurbished, the apartment offers a comfortable day area consisting of a large living room with two charming windows in the sitting area, complete with a large couch which converts into a double bed for added guests, and a series of armchairs. Right behind the sitting area is the dining area, with a large table for 6/8 people placed by the small divider that separates this section from the open kitchen, fully equipped with all necessities including a dishwasher.

The sleeping area is conveniently separate from the day area, giving added comfort and privacy, and offers two bedrooms, each with two single beds to be joined into a double or kept separate as requested. The main bedroom, overlooking the internal courtyard through its window, has a lovely ochre yellow bedding and includes a small 19th Century armoire, a large table with a designer lamp and wrought iron bedside tables, as well as the added comfort of a dressing room and an en-suite bathroom with bathtub. The second bedroom, in cardinal red, is furnished with a large walnut armoire from the 1800’s and faces the Piazza. The second bathroom, with washing machine and stall shower, is conveniently located by the day area, thus serving both the second bedroom and extra guests.

  • Staying in Santo Spirito Flat was a wonderful experience in every way. The apartment is spacious (enough for 4 adults), elegant, clean and comfortable and the location is superb. We really felt part of the area and made the most of enjoying the local food and wine. Waking to the market in the morning was wonderful and we enjoyed listening to and watching life going on below us from the windows from morning till night, when not out wandering the streets of Florence. We appreciated being in touch with the owner and manager from our first email correspondence and it was lovely to be so warmly welcomed by Sebilla. We will definitely recommend Santo Spirito Flat to friends and family. With thanks.

  • Staying in Santo Spirito Flat was one of the best experiences of my life. Off the beat & path we folded right in with the locals and had a marvelous time tasting wine & eating the true local foods, at half the cost I might add. Only 2 blocks from Piti Palace, we were able to hop into the mainstream quickly. I will always come back to Santo Spirito in the future. Gratis Sabillo & Guiseppe for a Marvelous Time in a most Beautiful place! Kay

  • We had a one week stay in late April '08. This is a large apartment in the very lovely (sometime noisy) Piazza Santo Spirito, with all conveniencies, except internet. Situated on the first floor (=2nd floor in the US, with no elevator), has a nice large and sunny living room. The front living room and small bedroom are directly above the square, which tends to be noisy at night. However, the master bedroom and the adjacent master bathroom are VERY quiet. Within the square you can get fresh produce, bread, with several deli shops and has some excellent pizzerias and restaurants. It takes 10 minutes walk to Pontevecchio, and equal time to the other two bridges. The person meeting us at arrival, young lady Sibila, was very helpful setting us up. She even tried to get us the mobile internet access (which unfortunately did not work at all). The shower in the smaller bathroom needed de- clogging and did not drain at all. We assume it was fixed after we left Florence. With small reservations, we enjoyed our stay.
