"Coconut Cove" is well known for its spectacular views of the sea, beautiful palm groves and seclusion. You just walk down the driveway, cross the front garden, walk down your private stairs to a lovely secluded beach. The coral reefs directly off shore are considered some of the most beautiful snorkeling locations on island. There are many pink sand beaches within walking distance or easy driving. swimming is great and on breezy days boogieboarding is fun. Governor's harbour is a quaint little town you will love. The people are very friendly and helpful. There are a number of good restaurants, shops and food stores in town. you will be met at the airport by our bahamian caretaker who can also assist you with rental cars. he can tell you where to go for great fishing and lots of other local information. we also recommend you visit the local library for more information, high speed internet connection and meet lots of interesting locals and visitors.

There are many picturesque towns on the island for shopping and fine eating. Many local restaurants serve bahamian as well as international food. Eleuthera is a long narrow peaceful island with many beaches,cliffs and quaint little towns.

"Coconut Cove" is a bright airy home with comfortable furniture,many paintings of local villages, churches, and underwater scenes,as well as many crafts made of driftwood and shells all created by the owners. balconies, decks and screened porch give you many options for snacks or dining, sunbathing, relaxing,star gazing,or just looking at the lovely turquoise water and palm trees. "Coconut Cove" is surrounded by a beautiful garden.

  • Coconut Cove was great! The location is very convenient (5 min drive to Governors Harbour). The views are amazing! I have rented a lot of vacation homes in the past and this one was great! It had everything we needed. We made a lot of meals in the kitchen and also used the grill. There were plenty of towels and linens too. A few of our favorite beaches were Twin Coves, Papaw Beach, Cocodimama / Alabaster and Ten Bay (all near Coconut Cove). The weather was great (no rain), with the constant wind off of the Atlantic we never needed to turn on the A/C!! We feel asleep every night listening to the waves! Your caretaker met us at the airport with the car. He is so nice and helpful. He showed us around the house when we arrived and made sure we were settled in before leaving. Overall we loved the island! It was very quiet and relaxing. I felt very safe and we would definitely return. We loved Coconut Cove! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
