The house is a one-floor villa with 3 bedrooms (2 with double-size beds; one with 2 single beds), 2 bathrooms (one with a shower+ a sink, the other one with a bath tub+ a sink), a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a private garage, and a covered terrace opened on a lovely provençal garden (olive trees, flowers, and grass). It might be suitable for disabled people.
There is also a private pool with its own pool house (shower, WC and BBQ) : the pool is surrounded by a security fence to provide more security for children.
You will feel yourself at home in this house decorated in a very typical way, with the colors of Provence. We have only one rental, as this is a small family business, so you won’t be surrounded by other tourists. The only close neighbourghs are my parents and they will be delighted to help you with anything.
It is located near Avignon, wellknown for its bridge, Popes'palace and ww famous theatre festival, which attracts thousands of people from around the world each year in July.
Daily local markets in all the surrounding villages feature the crafts of local artisans (pottery, textiles, and Provencale dolls [Santons]) as well as olives, fruits, vegetables, cheeses, breads, etc., which constitute the base of the Mediterranean healthy diet. The region is filled with vineyards. You will thus enjoy wine tasting in the surrounding famous vineyards (Chateauneuf du Pape, Gigondas, etc). Hundreds of excellent restaurants will delight you as well.
Every weekend, in the nearby town of l'Isle-sur-Sorgue, a famous "Antics" market takes place. The Mont Ventoux (called the "Giant of Provence"), the Luberon and the Dentelles de Montmirail (Montmirail laces) are perfect to find breathtaking viewpoints or to go hiking or mountain biking. The Michelin Map #236 shows the area. And do not forget that the Mediterranean sea is just an hour drive.
