  We've stayed at Portofino several times, and this condo did not disappoint... Clean and comfortable, and the balcony views were terrific... Chuck made the booking process painless...Stay here and you won't regret it... Be sure and see the Blue Angel's, Peg Leg Pete's, Hemingways, and the observation wheel... We were sorry to see that Bimini Bar had closed...

  This was my family's first visit to Portofino and we thoroughly it. Everything exceeded our expectations. From the beautifully decorated condo, to the amenities (pools & gym), the beach, the National SeaShore and the local restaurants. We enjoyed Flounders and Peg Leg Petes. Our stay was perfect. And Chuck made the reservation process so easy. He covered all the bases and his price is very reasonable. We'll definitely be coming back! I highly recommend Portofino and Chuck's condo.

  We stayed in Chuck's unit last week(June 8-12 2011). The unit was absolutely beautiful...even nicer than pictures. The furnishings were luxurious and the condo was very clean. The view to the gulf was amazing, and after observing the other tower locations, I felt our view could not have been any better. All employees at the Resort were very helpful and the food was good on the resort. We spent most of our vacation there during the weekdays...i did notice it was quite a bit busier on the weekends. Each tower has its own pool, and Tower 5 is the only tower that has a direct path to the beach behind the pool area. The owner was very professional and reliable. Pensacola Beach is a nice blend of private, but enough action at the boardwalk area if you need it for kids/teenagers. Check out the Naval Museum....Blue Angels practice was amazing and the museum itself a real treat. Island food was great....we lovved Peg Legged Pete's. This was a first class experience, and we will rent this unit again!

  This was our first time to visit Portofino on Pensacola Beach. The condo is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The gulf view is fabulous. We spent a lot of our time sitting on the patio and admiring the view of the beach. Plus, Chuck is very helpful and great about getting back to you when you have any questions or needs. Thanks for everything!!!

  We've been to Portofino 5 times including this past visit. Also have been in all three "beach front" buildings. This condo was furnished just right with some of the smaller touches which makes things easier (spices, detergent, hand soap, wi-fi, HD tv. Furniture set up was very comfortable and 10th floor is just about where we want to be. All appliances worked well and kitchen outfitted well (china, glassware, and cutlery). When we get back we will try to get this unit again as it's the nicest one we've stayed in.

  We enjoyed Portofino many times in spring and summer. In 2010, we decided to spend our Christmas at the beach. The experience was a blessing. The sunrises were late enough, so it was easier not to sleep through them. It was great to enjoy the rising sun over the gulf out of the bedroom window. The property is tastefully decorated; the views are great; the wireless Internet works (can't live without it, right?). The owners communicated well, made the booking simple and created an impression of trustworthy individuals. Hope to come again soon.

  We had a wonderful time. The condo is very nice. Portofino is an excellant condo community with lots of amenities. The condo has a beautiful view of the gulf. Pensacola is great!

  We just stayed in this condo over the weekend of 6/24-6/27. Mr Cadden was more than accomodating, he left us tips on restaurants and things to do. The condo exceeded our expectations (it was very clean), the bed in the master was unbelievably comfy and the view - wow the view. We could sit and drink coffee and watch the dolphins from the balcony or from the living room. The staff at Portofino were very nice and extremely helpful. Be sure to catch the tram - they will bring you anywhere on the grounds. If you come back from the beach after 5:00 the tram will not be running, so just follow the paved path back to the tower that runs along the road and go in through the pool area. The pools are great - be sure to check out the bay side and the resort pool. It is fabulous and the bar area there is really nice. If you need ice, the ice on the resort is $2.50/bag and they will bring it to the beach for you...now that is service. One thing we did not know until our last day is that there is a water taxi (I think) that will bring you to the boardwalk and back and also a trolley that runs up and down the strip.

  We have stayed at Portofinos many times. Our family enjoys the resort amenities, the deserted beach and the restaurants and shops. We found this unit, #138255, on VRBO and we were excited to try it. The condo faces the ocean and no 2 bedroom condo at Portofinos is closer to the beach. The photos don't do justice. There are fantastic views of the beach and ocean from the den, the bedrooms and the balcony. The condo is very clean and furnished with high-end amenities. Our stay couldn't have been better, especially with the help of the owner, Chuck. Chuck went above and beyond to assist us with our last minute condo reservations and to give us useful tips about the area. We definitely would recommend Chuck and this condo at Portofinos to all of our friends. We have already been back a 2nd time. We will vacation at this condo again. Restaurants: Try Hemingways, Crabs, and a memorable new restaurant, the Grand Marlin. As for things to do: See the Blue Angels show, visit the Naval Air Museum with IMAX Theatre, walk the Boardwalk and visit the restaurants, pubs and shops. A cool shop is "Lee Tracy" and the owner, Lee is the best. Explore the small dunes on the bay and the deserted State Park beaches around the resort. Kayak the bay.
