The house, "Sound Mind and Body", is located directly on the Pamlico Sound, 1 mile from the ocean, minutes away by car.
Featuring a 180 degree view of the Pamlico Sound, 160 foot bulkheaded lawn with direct stair access to knee high water. From the upper deck see spectacular sunsets and by day watch wind surfers and kite boarders skim across the water; by night see The Milky Way and the Hatteras Island Lighthouse's light.
The middle deck has a six person hot tub that is perfect for the cocktail hour sunset observations.
The lower level has shaded play areas, lockable storage, dual kayak, kiddie pool, and outdoor showers.
The owners like good food and have equipped the kitchen so you can prepare any kind of meal you like. House comes with the usual kitchen amenities plus assorted goodies like a rice cooker and bread machine (Sorry, no torch for the creme brulee.)
