Comfy, cozy cabin on the Tallulah River in the foothills of Appalachian Mountains in Northeast Georgia.
Relax on the back porch while listening to the running water of the river which is only footsteps away. Find relief from afternoon heat by splashing in the cool water. Bring your fishing poles for tonight's supper or just roast hot dogs on the open fire next to the river.
Bring your camera! Rabun County is full of nature's beauty. Mountain views from Black Rock State Park will be sure to amaze you. Waterfalls, that are refreshing just from the sound, will make a great picture for your memory book.
Five lakes in the area are available for swimming, fishing, boating.

This was by far the best cabin we have ever stayed in. The Cabin was furnished just like your at home. It was quiet, peacful and very relaxing. We spent time rocking on the back porch while listening to the river flow to a nice campfire in the evening. We went to Tallulah Falls Gorge and then went around Lake Rabun site seeing. Then we went to the famous Dillard House and ate their seafood buffett.We did catch some fish in the river, overall I would absoutley plan the next trip to the mountains with Bear Foot River Cabin. This cabin is own by a very nice family so your not dealing with an rental company.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Three women (65+) spent a week at the cabin and had a wonderful time. We visited Helen, Ga., the outlet mall which has many upscale stores, Lake Rabun, Highlands, NC, Tulluah Gorge, area water falls and many other wonderful sights. Not to mention just relaxing on the deck by the river. The property description is accurate and Julie was very good to work with. We would definately recommend a visit to the Lake Rabun Hotel Restaurant. The food was outstanding. Reservations can be made on-line. Having Wi-Fi was great. Two good surprises - 1) there is a ramp into the cabin making it easy go get your luggage in. No steps to climb! Would suggest a picture on the website. 2) There is a super Walmart approximately 8 miles away in Clayton. It has a decent wine selection. Suggestion: Add a mirror to each bedroom. With only one bathroom and one mirror, it was difficult for 3 women to shower, do makeup and hair in a timely manner (that is to get on with our shopping.)Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, adventure seekers.
