Sweet Retreat is a charming spacious cottage set amongst Loblolly Pines . It has 4 bedrooms, a huge kitchen, three gathering rooms and a great screened in porch with a hot tub. It is visited often by wild horses.It is located 3 streets from the dunes. In Carova Beach you can drive to and park on the beach all day long ,so no need to walk with all your beach toys etc. Awake each morning to the peaceful sound of the surf and gorgeous sunrises. Upper deck offers ocean views. Stroll along the wide beaches and search for treasured shells and sand dollars left behind by the changing tides. Take pictures of the wild mustangs of Carova who have roamed the beaches since the early 1500's when Spanish ships went aground and lost their equestrian cargo to the wondrous dunes of Carova (Carolina and Virginia equals CAROVA). Shopping, resturants, grocery stores, movies and attractions are approximately 2 miles north of where the pavement of HW 12 ends. Why not have the beauty of Carova Beach and still be so close to conveniences in Corolla?
Visit the unique shops and restaurants of nearby Corolla and Duck. Plan a trip to the famous Corolla Light House or Whalehead Club. Spend many glorious hours on the beach watching the dolphins frolic in the surf, building sandcastles, and basking in the beauty of this unspoiled beach.
