Located in the small fishing village of Grand Case, St. Martin along a beautiful stretch of white sandy beach. Perfect for long romantic walks, either in the morning to pick up a fresh baguette or in the evening to watch the sunset. In our cozy apartment which is located directly on the beach you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea from your own balcony.We have the best beach in front of our apt in Grand Case .It is a wide beach compared to other sections in Grand Case where there is no area for chairs and many rocks.Our beach is perfectfor lounging and swimming!
Just outside your door enjoy walking up the quiet street to a choice of over 30 gourmet restaurants including French, Creole, Italian and Fresh Seafood. There are many French boutiques to shop in or you may choose to have a cocktail at one of the beach bars along the sea. It is only a short drive to Orient Beach, which is considered the French Riviera of the Caribbean! It offers many water sports and restaurants with French and American cuisine directly on the beach.
The town of Marigot is also a short drive and is great for shopping-there is an open air market offering fresh caught fish, fresh local produce or shop for souveniers. Should you enjoy the games of chance, there are Casinos on the Dutch side of the island in Maho.

*We have recently painted the entire aptartment in soft carribean colors and there is a beautiful new Teak dining set and love seat on the Balcony .There is also a new Bamboo Bedroom set which is shown in the photos.There are egyptian cotton colorful beach towels provided as well as plush bath towels .There is a full kitchen set up for all your cooking needs.We have a complete set up of pots and pans, chef knives,large cutting boards and full set of glassware including wine,champagne,snifters,martini,and shot glasses and a martini shaker. We have a paddle ball set for the beach and our own cushions for the beach chairs for our guests only. We offer so many more ammenities than most rentals and know you will thouroughly enjoy your vacation in our caribbean home!!

Why the Owner Chose Grand Case Beach
We bought this charming apartment because we fell in love with this small French town in St,Martin.It is a very small town and we immediatly felt comfortable and at home.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
This lovely town is reminisent of a local small town in France.Unlike the Dutch side it is not built up and congested as the French government will not allow it.It is directy on the beach and walking distance to many wonderful Restraunts,shops, and great bars right on the beach.There is a wonderful Patissieri across the street for French Breakfast,esspresso,cappaccinos,fresh baguettes and croissants.Every Tuesday in the Highseason there is Harmony Nite which vendors sell many local arts,jewlery,clothes and food,it is a very festive and fun nite.There is an internate cafe,pharmacy and grocery store also walking distance.The beach is very quiet but should you want more activity there is Orient Bay 5 min drive away and another of our favorites is Pinel Island also a five min drive.The capital of the french side Marigot is 20min away and has many restraunts,shops,and an open air market for souvenier shopping.We have recently re done the entire apt with new teak and bamboo furniture and painted it in soft carribean colors.There are other apts in Grand Case that we have stayed at but none with all the ammenites that we provide.You can spend less elswhere in places not as beautifully appointed as our apartment.We know you will enjoy your vacation with us!

We visited last August (2010), and my husband said we shouldn't write a review because other people will see it and want to go and it won't be our secret hideaway! It was super close to the beach (any closer and you'd be floating in the water), the accomodations were just fine for two, the location was perfect for walking to all of the restaurants and with a rental car - and the small size of the island - we were close to all of the beaches on the French side. Perfect!!

My husband and I spent the week of February 26-March 5, 2011 in this apartment. We had never been to Sint Maarten / St. Martin before and were very pleased to discover that we "got it right" on our first attempt. We liked Grand Case best of all the vacation spots on the island and also thought that the beach right in front of the balcony was perfect for us--clean and uncrowded because it's only used by tourists who stay in Grand Case itself. We mostly do our own cooking when on vacation, but we did eat (twice) at "Le Soleil"--an ocean front restaurant where the food is great and the French owners very friendly--but one doesn't have to spend a fortune on dinner. We also went to Loterie Farm and hiked up to Pic du Paradis, the highest point of the island. For the more adventurous, Loterie Farm offers zip lines. After our hike we had lunch at the "Hidden Forest Café"--the food there is fantastic! There are great snorkeling spots in the vicinity of Grand Case as well. We liked Marigot, the "capital" of the French side a lot, but were not so excited about Philipsburg, the "capital" of the Dutch side. We found the shops there not very interesting. They seemed all geared for cruise ship mass tourism. Marigot has more interesting stores. The apartment was as described on the internet and the housekeeper was very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I just got back and wish we could have staqyed more than a week! Great location and comfortable surounding. It was very warm and homey. The only problem was that I could not get my wife off the 18X 12 patio becuase the view was so wonderful. Lots of updates and everything was just like home. Felt like a native and not a tourist.Grand Case is one of the most romanic cities we have ever trave;ed to. Can't mwait to return.

My husband and I stayed here just before Christmas 2010 and absolutley loved every minute of our stay. The condo is in a wonderful location and just perfect for us. We will definitely be coming back!
