My brother and I arranged a trip to Puerto Rico for my parents' 40th anniversary. There were 9 of us who stayed at the villa all ranging in age from 11-58. The villa was huge and allowed for everyone to have their own space. There was nothing that we needed at the villa that wasn't already provided. The book that Elizabeth left and the pictures in the cabinets were wonderful!! The villa is in a perfect location in Puerto Rico - the area was nice and we were able to get to places around the area very easily. We loved all the patios off of the bedrooms. We spent many mornings on the patios overlooking the golf course. The walk to the Embassy Suites beach and casino was very short...the casino was awesome - smoke free!! My son was able to meet a friend who lives in the villas and was able to play on the golf course which he loved. We all had a fabulous time. If I had a dollar for every time I heard my dad say - this villa is so cool, or awesome...I would be rich. He loved the architecture and arrangement of everything. Elizabeth was wonderful to work with - she was quick to answer my many questions and always gave thorough answers and also was a great resource and gave many great suggestions. Thank you Elizabeth for a wonderful place to stay!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This 4 story villa was awesome. All the bedrooms (4) had their own full bathrooms. The view was great from the bedroom windows. Very quiet and we had the pool all to ourselfs most of the time. The 24 hour security was great and polite. Property was well maintained and very clean. The owner was great, she was very informative about the surroundings, and was always a phone call away if we needed her. I highly recommend this beautiful villa to any family or group of friends looking for a nice place to rent. We didnt golf, but we did go to the casino. Even the town was great. Dorado is one of the cleanest towns in Puerto Rico. The only thing I didnt like was that when we ran out of beer we had to drive to the supermarket, its a very long walk from the villa to the shopping area. Other then that it was a great place.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: The nearest grocery store is in the shopping center just outside the gates of the private community within wich the Villa is located. It is a 1 mile drive.

After our family's visit during President's week, I told Elizabeth that I WANTED to make some comments. Then I went to the comment page, read all the other comments and thought...what more can I possibly add. Elizabeth has thought of everything to make a guest-visitor feel at home. There were 9 of us ranging in age from 3 to 70..my husband and me, our daughter, son-in-law and their sons,(ages 11 and 15) and our son, daughter-in-law and their daughter (age 3). The accommodations were so spacious that we never felt crowded. The kitchen was perfect, and every appliance we needed was there. The large gas grill outside on the patio got a lot of use. We also loved the balconies, great for sunning and/or reading. How nice that there were sand toys for the little one. The activities and information book, or should I say tome, held all the data that we could possibly need in order to know what, why, where, when, and how. It was wonderful that Elizabeth called us to see if everything was what we expected and if we need anything. I highly recommend renting her wonderful villa. A great location, minutes from the airport, and just a very short walk to the beach. Thank you, Elizabeth for being so thorough. ,Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

All I can say is WOW!!! My fiance and I decided to be married at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Dorado PR last year. We rented villas for all of our friends and family within Villas de Golf, 7 in total. Elizabeth was the first person we spoke to and I am so glad. She was overly helpful about everything right down to where to get my hair done for the wedding. Her villa is exceptionally clean, which I loved, stocked with everything and anything you could possibly need for a 10 day stay and beautifully decorated. I saw 6 other villas within the same complex and I can honestly say that this one was the best. It was a little bit larger than the rest, very well kept and had a beautiful view of the golf course. Our favorite part of the vacation was grilling on the back patio while we watched the golfers pass by. We can not wait to go back!!! We will definitely be staying here when we do :) THANK YOU SO MUCH ELIZABETH!!!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I was extremely pleased with my stay at this villa. I arranged for 9 of my friends and family to stay for a week and it went off without a hitch. I won't lie in that I was initially nervous about setting up the trip and paying for it completely through the internet but Elizabeth was extremely professional and helpful in giving me tips on arranging travel plans etc. Paypal also made it very easy. Once we arrived at the villa, it was a dream come true. The house was BEAUTIFUL and PRACTICAL. It had everything one could possibly need for a wonderful stay including blender and juicer (for home-made pina coladas) a grill and patio in the back and personal balconies for almost each room. The house was wonderfully furnished and almost more comfortable than my own home (I'm a grad student). Its location was more than ideal in that the Embassy Suites was only a 3min walk away w/ a full restaurant, bar and beach with beach chairs. The golf course (though a little pricey) was also wonderful with scenic views and iguanas and tropical ducks all over the place. There are tennis courts for use and a luxurious pool which we basically owned for the whole trip because there was only one other family who used it. In sum, we had a fabulous experience and have already begun talking about when we can come back and stay at the Villa again. Thanks to Elizabeth for all of her help.Did you find this review helpful? Our family stayed at the villa during Christmas week 2009. It was a wonderful escape from the blizzard that struck the DC area on the 20th. The villa accomodations and location are delightful. It's a short walk to the hotel beach and pool. The backyard gas grill is excellent. And there are many nice nearby restaurants. We're planning to return again.Did you find this review helpful? My husband and I were looking for a place where we could relax with our family. The rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable. The house was immaculate and with a bathroom for every bedroom we had everything we needed. The patio set and grill were great. The views from the terraces at every level were wonderful. We felt truly pampered and were sorry we had to leave at the end of our trip. I would recommend this villa to friends and family. It was a great place to relax after a long day of visiting the many sites on the island.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

In August, 2009 we celebrated our 40th anniversary by taking our children and grandchildren to Puerto Rico for 7 days. That means there were 11 of us (including a one year old)!! We hit the jackpot when we rented Elizbeth's villa in Dorado! It was PERFECT for us. The four bedrooms gave the three couples each a bedroom AND bath leaving the fourth bedroom and bath for the grandchildren. We had plenty of space and everything we needed. Many times we have been disappointed that accommodations don't come up to descriptions but not this villa. It was beautiful, clean, organized and very comfortable. Elizabeth is extremely organized and that was VERY helpful. We went all over the island to several beaches, the rain forest, caves, the luminous bay, the fort and shopping district in Old San Juan, the world's largest radio telescope and loved the beach and gigantic pool right by the villa at Embassy Suites. It was always good to come "home". Weather was perfect, locals very helpful and our GPS got us where we wanted to go with no hassle (other than traffic at times). We HIGHLY recommend this villa to anyone. It was great!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

PERFECT!! Is the first thing that comes to mind. April 2009 our family of 4 traveled with friends, another family of 4 to Elizabeth's Dorado Villa. We were more than comfortable! The Villa had 4 generous bedrooms, each with private bath AND balcony. We never felt crowded! This place has GREAT space for large groups. The setting is beautiful & the location is fantastic! It made it easy for us to venture out or stay put: we traveled to Ocean park beach, Isla Verde beach, Luquilla Beach, The Rain Forest, Old San Juan and the local Dorado beaches. Elizabeth is one of the most organized people I have ever rented from. She has a book of info. that was our bible. She has pictures in each cabinet letting you know what is in there and how to return it. An inventory list letting you know what the villa has..no need to search, check the inventory list and you'll know where it is! Many THANKS to Elizabeth for leaving no stone unturned...she even provided up with some key spanish phrases/words since NONE of us spoke the language.. boy did that come in handy. I must also mention the wonderful locals! We were pleasantly surprised at how well most of them spoke english and how willing to help they were when we had questions! Just beware of their driving skills!! Thanks again Elizabeth, we had a great vacation!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We were 3 families with the total of 8 people. The pictures on this web page doesn't do the property justice. The rooms are spacious and very organized, the furniture is comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped, very clean & most important it was very safe! We really felt at home. We were able to contact Elizabeth during our stay and she was accommodating to our needs. I would highly recommend this Villa. Enjoy your stay!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Great space, great location, and, fortunately for us there was great weather. This Villa accommodated our party perfectly during our early June stay. Elizabeth was very helpful throughout the process, and the information materials inside of the house were helpful as well. Everything provided made for a seamless transition to our vacation getaway Villa. The only change for next time is to book a longer trip.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

We had a great stay in this Villa. Elizabeth is very accommodating and the Villa itself is a perfect place for a larger family. Our group of 8 stayed there in May and we all felt like we had our own space. Very safe location with a pretty beach and access to the hotel amenities if you like. If you are planning a trip to Puerto Rico and would like to stay in a quieter location than San Juan, this is the perfect place.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 6/6

This rental property is indeed a home away from home. It is well cared for, spacious, and generously equipped with amenities. The owner of this property further assists their renters with a local property manager who is most gracious and accommodating. Our traveling contingent was 24, ranging in age span from 72 to 7 months. While not all of us stayed in the Villa, we did have 5 of the 24, with others staying at the Embassy Suites, and another rental further south by about 10 minutes. Our accommodations at the Villa were by far the best within our group. The location, set in Dorado, is quite handy from which to see the island. It is west of San Juan, but not too far west that it impedes trips into Old San Juan via the ferry from Cantaña, or day trips to other parts of the island. From this location members of our group visited Arecibo Observatory, the Camuy River Caves, the beaches of Aguadilla, Aguada, and Rincon, the mountains of Lares and San Sebastian, a snorkeling adventure out of Fajardo, a deep sea fishing trip (with a successful catch!) and a trip down the center of the island to the city of Ponce. There was fun and adventure for everyone, and a beautiful place in Dorado to start and end our day.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The house was lovely, well laid out, plenty of room for two families and excellent appliances, within an easy walk to the hotel beach, clean, but small.A car is essential for interesting exploring of the island with magnificent beaches and hidden treasures to be found. Don’t always believe the guide books..An evening in San Juan is a must as is a visit to the island of Viques and the bioluminescent lake, (but book before you go).Did you find this review helpful? Our group consisted of 9 adult women ranging in age from 25-62. We all loved the villa. It is in a nice central location for day trips around the island, especially Old San Juan, snorkeling trips and fishing. It is approximately a 2 hr drive from Fajardo where we enjoyed a kayak trip to a luminescent bay (very exiting) as well as other beaches. The villa has many rooms condusive to conversation, an often used laundry room, and 5 bathrooms which were much appreciated by all 9 women. The villa is well equipped with all necessary appliances, furniture, dishes, etc. It is also nice to have the congierge service available at the Embassy Suites nearby. We all thoroughly loved our stay at the villa. Elizabeth is very cordial and makes sure that you are happy. We can't wait to visit again.Did you find this review helpful? We had a wonderful time at the Dorado Villa. It was absolutely beautiful and more than we expected. The pictures on the website does not do it justice. Eight of us stayed at the villa and we all were very happy with the accomodations. It was big enough that no one got in anyone's way. Each room had its own veranda. It was all that was promised and then some. We would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to our friends. Elizabeth, the owner was very helpful with all questions we had before our arrival and was very informing before our departure, especially with the threat of the hurricane. She kept us updated and as it turned out all was fine. All in all it was a great vacation with my family and having the use of the villa made it more special. Thank you again, ShylinDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 33/33

Each year, for the past 20 or so, my five sisters, two friends and I have vacationed in the Caribbean; we have passed through PR (the San Juan Airport) on many of these trips. The first time we actually made PR our destination we chose Elizabeth's Dorado Villa as our "home for a week". We were not disappointed! The home is beautiful; location is ideal for sightseeing (from Old San Juan to Arecibo), golfing, beaching, and shopping. Finally, the owner could not have been more attentive to detail in insuring that the facility was properly equipped and maintained for the comfort of guests. P.S. The eight of us now range in age from 66-78; hope we have 20 more years of vacationing together!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 33/33

Being close to the beach, the city - yet enjoyed the privacy of a home was just fabulous. I will definitely go back again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 32/32

this is a great place to stay if you are a golfer. Many terrific courses (including the one right beyond the patio terrace) within striking distance. The condo has been well maintained and is clean and practically equipped. 4 sizable master bedrooms accommodate 8 with plenty of privacy. a capable and welcoming caretaker. althought there was a minor issue with the fridge and A/C unit, i would definitely rent again.Owner response: Since this guest stayed at the Villa, the refrigerator icemaker line was replaced and the remote control battery for the particular A/C unit mentioned was also replaced. Guests are encouraged to contact owner immediately with any questions or concerns so that any and all issues may be resolved promptly.

We had a wonderful time at Dorado Villa, it was everything it promised to be based on the description and photos, no surprises. There were 7 of us total and we each enjoyed our own master suites. Being on the golf course was ideal and kept our Dad and husbands entertained on several days. We also found the villa to be in a good location for sightseeing, not too far away from the major attractions. I would absolutely recommend to anyone who is going to visit the island with a group of people or family. Also, Elizabeth, the owner, was fabulous through the process and provided answers to our many questions before we arrived.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 32/32
