This property is terrific, better than advertised! Very professional from Pre-arrival to departure. We would certainly rent this home again as the location could not be beat, Bob was easy and accurate to work with and the home itself is outstanding. We all loved the art (thanks, Paul), the Zen Garden, and the ability to do all things SoCal from this locatiion. From bike helmets to beach chairs, this property has it all. Five stars. Very cool.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Our family, 2 adults, 4 adult children, and 2 adult friends all stayed at this house for our annual Christmas trip. It was fabulous! The house is within walking distance of beautiful Venice Beach and Santa Monica. Coming from NC, it was just as "California" as we had hoped with skateboarders, roller bladers, an over 25 miles biking path, surfers, and sites you just cannot see on the East Coast. Everything is close by: groceries, restaurants, shopping. Bob, owner, has become a legend in our family because he was so warm and welcoming in a CA way. We even left much of our clothes, and they kindly mailed them to us in NC. The house itself never felt cramped, lots of living space. Also enjoyed much of what LA had to offer: Stevie Wonder concert and Jay Leno. Highly recommend this property and this destination for great fun!

What a beautiful holiday home. We struggled with all the stairs because our infant decided to start crawling and climbing, but a truly amazing house with lots of amenities, Bob was terrific with efficient instructions and kindness - flexible with our needs and we would definitely stay here again (when our girls are older and capable with stairs). We had a great time!

Great house - great location. We wish we were there for fun rather than work, but it was a nice treat to come home to a lively, fun house at the end of each day rather than a hotel room. We'll be back for sure! Thanks.

We loved our stay at the Hollister house. The owners had everything we needed and more. The bikes and entertainment room were great. Small touches were everywhere; toiletries, super soft towels, spices in the kitchen cabinets and more.

We had a perfect Thanksgiving there in Hollister House. The boys loved the pool table and we all biked to the beach most days. Really recommend it. Would love to use the same house again.

Great place, had everything we were looking for and more! We more most impressed by the location, so close to the beach, plus not far from food and shops. Having parking and a good night sleep made our vacation so easy...I definitely recommend this place to any group looking to stay in SoCal!!!

We had a great time in the house, found everything to be as advertised or better. It's a perfect way to travel with a little one, with all the details taken care of (who wants to lug a high-chair on vacation?). We had friends over for dinner, had drinks on the roof, worked the beach and main street, all from a great location (with parking!). Everyone was impressed with the place. There is no better way to do an extended stay in Santa Monica.

We just came back from a fantastic week at your beautiful house in Santa Monica! The kids loved their rooms, the pinball machine, the juke box, the ping pong table - just perfect for families! This was our third stay in your beautiful home. My first, when my daughter started her Freshman year in college and this one to watch her graduate. The amenities are incredible. The beach is more fun with the toys you provide, as well as the bikes for outdoor fun. The indoor amenities are amazing as well. There is nothing lacking when staying in this home. Something for everyone and plenty to do in the area as well. THANK YOU for sharing.

I highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the Santa Monica area. My teenage son and his friend loved the pool table, ping pong, and pinball machine. They also loved riding the bikes. The house is in the perfect location and is close to everything. We enjoyed the house so much we didn't want to leave! It truly felt like "home" for 10 days. We have rented many vacation homes and this one is up there with the best of them. Thank you Bob and we have a referral for you already!

The most wonderful vacation spot. The house is spotless, comfortable and fun! My kids had a blast with the bikes, pool table, juke box and more. I was able to relax in comfort and have friends over to enjoy the roof deck. The location is the most ideal-a block from the beach, a block from Main Street and some great restaurants-just convenient to everything. Thanks Bob, for making our time in Santa Monica so much fun. We'll be back soon.
